Advantages: Often cheapest, Fast, Easy site

Disadvantages: High postage, Mistakes happen

There's always something that puts me off buying from the big companies - the Internet is a free, wide place and it seems a shame that one company has such a monopoly. That said - when you trawl the net comparing deals on individual items they seems to turn out best, despite unfortunate shipping charges. The ease of obtaining free vouchers by signing up to things also helps!
There's not a lot I can say about Amazon that has not been said before, but i will mention this - they are by no means perfect.

I ordered the video of Metallica - S&M, and I ordered the double video of an old TV series called Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy (haven't seen it/heard it/read the books? - you're missing out). A few days later a package arrived. A bit small for three videos I thought - and so it was. They had interestingly sent me a video of 'The Tigger Movie' and a CD of 'The Best of The Wurzels'.
