Amazon.co.uk offers products for sale by private individuals and businesses, known on their site as merchants. This leads to a more competative sale price, but also means that no matter who I buy from, I am secure in the knowledge Amazon's guarantee has me covered. Listing an item for sale is very easy, enter the ISBN of your product, ... Read the complete review

Just forget about shopping with Amazon.co.uk them selves and shop with the sellers. You will just notice one difference which is the prices and the delivery charges.Thumbs up to the marketplace for the prices but thumbs down on the delivery charges. Sellers on the Amazon website on the Marketplace make their money back with the delivery charges on ... Read the complete review

I used Amazon Marketplace first as a buyer, then as a seller once I'd got used to the way it worked. I'd previously sold stuff on eBay, and while I think eBay's unrivalled for clothes, jewellery etc., for books, CDs, DVDs and other electrical things Amazon seemed more straightforward. As a buyer, you can check the condition of the item ... Read the complete review

I've recently graduated from university, and decided to clear out some of my old textbooks. After looking on ebay at how little the titles I had were selling for I decided to open a seller account with Amazon. I've used the service before as a buyer and never had any issues, and thought I couldn't go wrong with a company as big as ... Read the complete review

Before I start, I will say that I have never sold anything on Amazon's market place so I right this review purely from a buyers perspective. Amazon Market Place is part of Amazon.co.uk. It allows independent individuals & companies to sell items through Amazon's website. The items are all available for immediate purchase & ... Read the complete review

just over a year ago I moved out of my own house and back in with my parents to try to save some money towards buying a place of my own. As I packed everything up I realised what a lot of books I had. 37 boxes of books to be precise. And it struck me as madness to have 37 boxes full of books, and no house to put them in. And so I embarked on a ... Read the complete review

The Amazon Marketplace provides a safe and controlled environment for third party sellers and individuals to sell their new or used items. The Amazon Marketplace is incorporated into the Amazon.co.uk website allowing customers to view a product page and compare Amazon's prices to those of sellers of the new or used products. The ... I have used Amazon Marketplace as a means to both buy and sell books. Selling books on Amazon Marketplace is far more efficient than Ebay and you are likely to receive the value of the book. While the closing fees are expensive, there are no listing fees. Simply fill in the details of the book you want to sell, choose your price and the Amazon ... Read the complete review

I'm sure many of you out there have spent a fair bit of your internet time browsing somewhere such as eBay for unnecessary products to spend your hard earned cash on. Well, here's an alternative that in my view at least, is better than eBay... I'm sure you're all aware of the concept of Amazon.co.uk and the service it provides, allowing ... If you didn't already know when you click on a product from Amazon there is a box to the right advertising the same products. Amazon lists the same items new and secondhand alongside its main listings. These are items which are being sold on Amazon Marketplace. Overlook them and possibly lose out! I bought 2 sets of garden lights (brand new) but ... Read the complete review

The Amazon Marketplace is more similar to Play.com's PlayTrade than eBay. It's basically where you can buy from sellers instead of from Amazon directly, as well as sell your goods online. There is no bidding and everything is at a fixed price (Buy It Now). This means that the lowest price sells the quickest. It is much simpler than ... Read the complete review

I was hesitant from buying from the Amazon Marketplace at first. Due to it being individual users selling items like eBay, which the service could be abused. I have bought 4 different items I couldn't get through Marketplace that the official Amazon website didn't stock. The highest being priced around £20. The service is ... Read the complete review

Amazon Marketplace is basically the same thing on the Amazon website. The difference is you get the chance to buy items from sellers. Its a bit like Ebay however you can not bid on the items available to buy instead buy them on the spot. On the Marketplace items seem to be cheaper than the website it self. I found out when using the ... Read the complete review

The Amazon Marketplace is the section of the websites where items are not being sold my Amazon. The system is very similar to Ebay where you get the chance to buy items of other sellers. The problem here is you do not get to view pictures of the items from other sellers. One good example would be a Samsung Netbook on sale from a seller ... Read the complete review

Amazon Marketplace is a service a bit like eBay, which allows users to buy and sell new or used products listed on the site. When the item sells, Amazon takes care of the payment process, and acts as an intermediary for the sale. It then takes a hefty cut of the sale price, and the transaction is complete. I have found the service to be ... Read the complete review

I was always very worried about using Amazon Marketplace as I'm sure a lot of people are. However I decided to try when I had a voucher and found out they were £10 cheaper than Amazon themselves. Amazon market place is where you can sell your unwanted items through the amazon site. I'm a total newbie to selling on-line. Most of us with internet access will have probably stumbled onto Amazon.co.uk at some point - you can find just about anything and everything available for sale here (the site has come a long way since the early days when it specialised in books and other media products). I really like Amazon Marketplace. You can find almost anything secondhand on here, its a bit like ebay but without the uncertainty because the price is fixed. I'm writing this review from the perspective of a customer who has only purchased items using Amazon Marketplace (ie I'm not registered to sell items through the scheme).
