Advantages: Cheap, high quality, named brands and unbranded options

I have used Grantham's Art Discount for nearly five years now, and have found them to be consistently reliable. Grantham's stock art materials, and have extremely good prices for branded paint and bulk orders of canvas. They also offer free shipping on orders over £45, so I tend to place a few big orders with them in a year. Canvas tends to be around 1/6 of the price of buying in a shop, although this is a discount for buying 10 at once, while paint is £1 a tube cheaper. They stock airbrush & compressors, artists accessories, books, brushes, calligraphy, canvas, children's products, Chinese painting equipment, craft products, drawing equipment, easels, eco friendly products, home, office & stationery, laptop cases
pads, paper & board, paints, pastels, pencils, pens, parkers & inks, presentation portfolios, and gift vouchers.

On the home page there is usually a list of their current best offers. The website is very easy to navigate, with product categories down the left and side, and a site map to the top. They have also recently introducted a loyalty scheme, where you get paid 2 points to the £1, which can later be used against their products. Despite the cheap prices I have found their canvas to be high quality, much better than the cheap ones found in discount book stores, and the same texture as those from my local art shop. Items come very well wrapped, usually boxed and bubble wrapped.

Shipping is generally quick, although where they have fallen down in the past is if something is out of stock they wait to send the entire order, but do not notify you of the delay. Payment is secure and easy, and most cards are accepted. Gantham's have recently linked in their art discount website with Graphic Discount and Print Discount, offering a well rounded service.
