Advantages: don't pay for difference on substituted items!

Disadvantages: they don't unpack your shopping for you haha!

Online shopping at asda is great! A total hassle free and convenient way of shopping. No long queues and crowds of people in the way of what you are trying to get to. Simply sit and browse the 'aisles' on the asda website and select the items that you require. They go into your 'basket' and then you proceed to the checkout where you choose what is the most convenient day and time of day for your delivery.
On the day of your delivery you usually receive a phone call to teel you either that they are on their way or how long they are going to be. When they arrive, they give a list of your products with the total amount on and any substituted items that they have given you. They unload their van and put your shopping by your door. Then you just have to sign the electronic machine to say you have received your shopping.
Asda offer a substitued item deal where if they haven't got the item that you order they substitute it with an item of the closest item that is either the same in price or dearer. If it is more expensive than the item you ordered, you DONT pay the difference. This meaning you can get an item double in price for the price you would have paid for the original item. For example my partner ordered some Skol lager (special offer of 92p for 4 cans) they didnt have enough so they sent Carlsberg which is around £2 for 4 cans!!!
