Advantages: Gives you your time back to do other stuff

Disadvantages: No being able to buy the reduced to 10 p stuff, lol.

I have been using this facility for a few weeks now.I really do love it.I use each category to see if there may be anything I have forgotten..I always do this quite a few days in advance, making sure to note anything I buy on offer, will still be on offer on the day of delivery.
The reason I started using the service was because of the children's school Holiday.I never take the children food shopping, well definately not all three of them at one.
This way I can quietly go over what I need with a cup of coffee.I usually go back and amend my order before it comes,as you can do this upto the night before your delivery at no extra cost.

How it works

Firstly register with Asda as an online customer.
You will get money back if you do this through a cashback site, such as Quidco.

Search for the items of grocery you are after via the seperate categories,or just use the search bar, which is very good.

They also have a tab for offers,so you dont have to go through every single category to find the deals.

Then go to checkout. Here you will be notified if any offers will have gone out of date by the time your delivery is due to arrive.

The delivery can be booked in 2hour slots. And I have always been happy with their accuracy on keeping these time slots.

The charge for delivery differs dependant on what time you choose.Varying from £3.00-£5.50.Usually there are some sort of offers online for free delivery etc.

Also this checkout page is where you will enter any discount codes you may have.

You will need a card to pay for the goods.Such as Visa, maestro, mastercard.

You will be emailed a notification of order.

Gone are standing behind people with bad odour.People with no manners that moe your child down.

Gone too are putting groceries in the trolley,to load on a checkout. To then put in the car,too then remove from the car.
Also if you remove the cost of your petrol from delivery and the money saved by not impulse buying it is a really good service.

Also you can choose whether or not to accept substitutes. But I would ,as Asda do a pricematch.I got a carrot cake from the extra special range that should have been a £1 more. But as it was them that did not have the carrot cake I ordered ,they gave me a better one with no extra cost to me.

Well worth trying it out.See if its for you.

Summary: What can be bad about someone else doing the food shop for you?

The big problem is that they won't bring your shopping indoors so you ahve to manhandle the trays yourself whereas Tesco will deposit the trays on the kitchen table for me, Susan
