Advantages: Affordable products, simple service, and they seem to care about the customer.

Disadvantages: The only one I could find was the £5 delivery charge - slightly higher than some others.

I used Asda online shopping for the first time this week. I've used Tesco in the past - However, I found Asda to be much better. Unlike Tesco, if Asda don't have one of your items in stock and have to exchange it for another, they will pay the difference if the replacement item is more expensive. In addition, they offer a plastic bag recycling service from your door.

I found the website very easy to navigate, and loved the fact that you can save your shopping list and come back to it at a later date - much easier for a shop shared between flatmates!

The value of the products was very good, and the service I received from the delivery man was excellent - very friendly and helpful, and he phoned ahead of arriving to let me know exactly when he'd be at my door, to save me waiting around wondering when he'd arrive.

All in all, I can't sing Asda's praises enough - will definitely be using their service again.

Summary: Still definitely worth it, and I'll be a returning customer.
