Advantages: quick, cheap

Disadvantages: lacking a bit

Yes, like many others I have already purchased on-line groceries at two supermarkets so-far, being Sainsburies, Tesco both have been good.

So I thought I would look at Asda. It is quite similar to the other two, checking postcode, enter details, a few check boxes that have to be turned off unless you want lots of junk mail appearing, a useless numeric code number for your id(I am not a number i am a free man). And for some stupid reason they have adopted a pin code rather than a named password.

I must admit out of the three supermarkets I have tried on-line it is the fastest, you whiz through the window in which you select a day and time slot(first time you order this is free), then go and select the products.

Excuse me I said select the products.

This is Asda yes, not my local grocers.

Ahem, can I have some foooody please.

They do have a medium size range, but maybe I'm just spoilt, compared to sainsburies or tesco, it seems rather l a c k i n g

The prices of the food are MUCH cheaper but the choice is less.

The search engine is not very good, if you enter 'beans', it finds baked beans but if you enter 'baked beans' it doesn't. That is sad, it also doesn't seem to give you as much info as say Sainsburies on the products. I mean are these Heinz baked beans? No info just baked beans.

Same goes if you enter say oyster sauce versus oyster, and could you tell me where the potnoodles are. HOW CAN THEY NOT HAVE POTNOODLES

UPDATE someone in the comments has kindly told me they do have potnoodles, could someone tell me how I find them using the asda searchi engine.(A free potnoodle from ASDA to the winner(if they agree)).

So, if you want a general shop, it might do fine. I'll make an order and give you an update.

One thing I'm certain, all the products I find will be cheaper.

Happy shopping

"Pot noodles" is two words. Why does your title say Asda online are "sublime" (which means good) when you seem to think they're very poor?
