Advantages: Free delivery nearly everytime

Disadvantages: Always late and never explain why

I started shoping with asda online about 3 months ago as my old supermarket was getting very expensive. The first week my shopping arrived an hour late, when the delivery driver knocked on my door i didn't get an apology for him being late or any explanation. When i got my shopping into the kitchen and unpacked i found i had 4 missing products, i rang the helpline number on my receipt and got through to someone who spoke very bad english, it took almost 20 minutes to resolve the problem and then they said they couldn't re-deliver the things that were missing but would refund my card in 14 days. Although the website is easy to use and its much cheaper then tesco, morrisons and sainburys i feel the online service they provide is lacking somewhat. If they had rang me and told me they were going to be late i would have understood, also some kid of explanation would have been nice. I continue to shop with them only because of the price diffrence to other supermarkets and the quality of the products but the online service is terrible. In the last 3 months my shopping has been on time just 4 times, this i find unacceptable. The only good thing i can say about the online service is that i hardly ever have to pay for delivery due to free delivery voucher codes i receive and find in magazines etc...

Summary: I would use another supermarket if they were cheeper.
