Advantages: Quick Delivery and wide range of choice

have been using ASOS since 2006 and up until yesterday i absolutely loved it, every month i would spend well over £200 on shoes/ clothing/accessories and never had a problem.

Until yesterday, i ordered a beautiful dress for a night out on saturday (plus about 7 other items...confessed shopaholic here) the quality of it was outstanding, lined with bones to hold the top in place. However i am a traditional size 12, never in my life i have i had to buy a 14 anywhere as it drowns me, I have a pear shape so i'm slightly smaller on top than my bottom but only have a 32 chest, i tried to zip the dress up and it wouldn't even meet in the middle. I burst out crying to my mum convinced i must have put on weight. I also brought a pair of boyfriend jeans in a 12 and i couldn't even get them over my thighs, again insistent that it was me getting fat i flew up to my room and burst into tears again.

My mum came up about half an hour later after finding a website that explained sizing and showed me the comparisons from a traditional size 12 to the asos 12 it was outstanding! A friend of mine came over that night, she's an 8, and the dress fit her beautifully. I think they really need to sort the sizing out as its outrageous to think i may even need to buy a 16 for a dress to fit me?

The jeans i am replacing however the dress i am not, I take alot of care for my body to keep it the size i love so why should i have to make myself feel bad for a company who's products may be sized wrongly?

Apart from yesterday i have never had any problems with asos, the clothing has always come promptly and always with the correct order, the one time they were out of stock on an item they refunded me AND gave me free sunglasses and a free belt as a sorry.

I don't think people should be put off by other peoples reviews, try them first.

Summary: It can be hit and miss with the sizes and quality but there are always some steals to be had.
