Advantages: quick delivery and excellent marketing to hook you in
Disadvantages: unreliable and dishonest
Unfortunately if you google fraud asos there are quite a few incidents out there that people have written about. I am one such case to the tune of £400. They have taken my money in August and now- 3 weeks later they still do not reply. I have an email that says they will refund £500 but actually they did not. I only happened to find out when I checked my statement. When I emailed they failed to reply. I am about to report this to my credit card company. Also to trading standards. Any good reviews here are from people who spent less than £50 or who are working in the company. If you plan to spend more than that you are better of buying from the shop direct. This company seems to make their money from tricking customers rather than honest sales. I am really appalled that such companies can so freely trade. By the time I bring legal action the story will be 'oh sorry mam but we made a mistake...' BTW as re: the £50 or less comment I am implying that if you spend less than around that amount you wont experience the fraud- in my case it was 500 and they only refunded 70 of it thinking Id overlook the rest...
Summary: Not to be trusted
