      Advantages

      Disadvantages

The cheapest place for 'passport' style tickets.

I had been looking for cheap tickets for Disneyland Paris for a while. When reading the popular Brit Guide to Disneyland Paris book, this ticket broker was mentioned. The book states, 'Attraction Tickets Direct: well known for being the UK's number one ticket broker for Orlando attractions, it often runs special offers on Disneyland Paris... and a unique price promise guarantee'. The other online brokers mentioned are Keith Prowse and Theme Park Tickets Direct. So, keenly I looked at the website which is attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk and chose to go with this option.

      WHY ATTRACTION TICKETS DIRECT?
Tickets are competitively priced and will be posted to you within 7 days which was important as I only had 3 weeks until we left.
A few other websites offer day tickets for the same price as Attraction Tickets Direct such as Eurostar, which would be the safer option. However, the reason I opted for Attraction Tickets Direct is that, they are the cheapest place I found which sells real hard tickets delivered to your door (known as 'passports' in Disney terms), and not e-tickets (a print-out). The problem I have with e-tickets is that, not all will work in the Fast Past system (an important free system which allows you to 'queue jump'), you have to get them exchanged at the desk for the passport tickets. With passport tickets, you can just pop them under the barcode reader and your Fast Pass is printed out with a time slot of when to return to the ride. Normally, getting e-tickets exchanged wouldn't pose as a problem for me, but as we were only having a short visit during off-peak opening times, we really didn't want to waste more time queuing unnecessarily.
I believe that Disneyland Resort Paris have now started to reinstall Fast Past systems which can now read e-ticket barcodes, but at the time of writing this, I believe only a few rides have the newer systems.
A nice little bonus with the 'passport' style tickets is that you can keep them as cute souvenirs as they usually feature artwork of a Disney character. I still have old passport tickets from Disney World from the 1980s instead of any of the toys we bought! So, if you visit regularly you can build up a collection of these.
Disney passport tickets can also be bought from the Disney Store, there are a few in London, the flagship store being in Oxford Street, but out of London there aren't that many, and tickets also cost more if bought this way.

      USING THE SITE
The website is simple and easy to use. It is worth always checking out their special offers page. According to the Brit Guide book for Disneyland Paris, Attraction Tickets Direct often run special offers on 1-, 2-, 4- and 5-day hopper tickets. Right now, they are giving away a free gift with every child Orlando Ticket purchase and it's a really good gift too - you will receive an exclusive Disney pin, Disney Kid's wallet, Disney Autograph Book and a 'kids eat free' card worth £10! All of which are very useful and are usually purchased anyway.
As well as Disney Parks you can also books tickets for various global attractions such as New York, Las Vegas and theme parks in Europe.

I chose to buy two 1 day/2 park hopper Disneyland Paris Adult tickets at a cost of £47 each. The total cost was £94 (including postage). In comparison, this would have cost £102 from Disneyland Paris.co.uk - the official site (for what I believe to be are e-tickets) as well as at the Disney Store (although you do receive passport tickets). A saving of £8, which may not seem like a lot but it can really add up for a family.
The payment system is secure and powered by SECPay. You can pay by credit card and they don't seem to offer a Paypal option. The card options available are Master Card, Visa Debit, Delta, Connect, Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro, Solo, American Express.
You are unable to register an account, so you need to fill out your details each time you make a purchase. If you place tickets in your basket yet don't checkout, they will be waiting for you when you next visit so that you can carry on with your purchase (unless you delete your cookies of course).

      INSURANCE
Insurance is available from Attraction Tickets Direct; however, most people will overlook this as it's quite expensive (it came up as £37 for me). Their insurance covers lost, stolen or damaged tickets if in the UK or US but there is no mention of France. If you were to buy e-tickets, of course you could just print out a few back-ups, but as these are passports tickets that's impossible. Fortunately there is another option. When you receive your passport tickets, simply photocopy or take a photo of the back including the numbers. Even if you just write down the numbers could suffice. Then, if something happens to your tickets, Disney is known to replace them. The numbers can help track tickets, cancel them and you'll be provided with a replacement. Be warned though Disney is not obligated to, so put them in a safe place! A receipt of purchase from a broker such as Attraction Tickets Direct or even the Disney Store will not be accepted. Only purchase receipts from tickets bought at the park will be eligible, as the information will be in their system.

      RECEIVING & USING TICKETS
We received the tickets within the time stated and had no problems what-so-ever. At Disneyland Resort Paris we walked straight through to the turnstyles at the park entrance without having to queue up and our tickets worked in all of the available fast pass machines.
Overall, Attraction Tickets Direct met all of my needs and made our trip to Disneyland Paris a lot easier as well as cheaper. From now on they will be the first place I go to for Disney tickets.

      Best Ever!

Woohoo I'm the first to review something lol :)
I have purcahsed my tickets for Florida theme parks and dinner shows from this website on two occasions now and they have not let me down in any way.

They are the UK's No. 1 Broker for Florida Attraction Tickets.
They will beat any brochure price and have a price promise, which basically states if you find your tickets cheaper anywhere they will refund the difference to you. They explain this is more detail if you click the price promise rosette on their page which is not hard to miss as its bright red.

They issue actual real theme park tickets NOT vouchers or E-tickets (you do however get vouchers for dinner shows with very easy instructions on how to use - basically just emailing the company to reserve seats).
They have no credit card fees and no hidden extras.

You will receive your tickets within 7 days of booking, guaranteed!

      Customer service lines are open 9am to 9pm, 365 days a year (0845 130 3876).
Their website is very easy to use - Your pick you destination from the left hand side of the page, be it Florida, Las Vegas, Toronto, Deep South, the UK, and various other places throughout the world. You are then provided with a list of every single place within your destination that they sell tickes to. For example when picking Florida I was given a menu that consisted of:

      Walt Disney World Resort
      Orlando FlexTicketTM
      Universal Orlando® Resort
      Discovery Cove®
      Seaworld® Orlando
      Busch Gardens®
      Kennedy Space Centre
      Wet 'n Wild®
      Go Orlando Card
      Gatorland
      Silver Springs
      Airboat Rides
      Daytona Speedway
      Richard Petty
      Orlando Excursions
      Orlando Balloon Flights
      Orlando Dinner Shows
      Orlando Magic NBA Tickets
      Planet Hollywood

Once you have choosen your preferred option/ you are then taken to another page which displays all the current tickets available for that particular place and the prices for both adults and children. Please note though on most of these a child is only up to the age of 9 years old.
Once you have decided on everything you wish to purchase you go to the basket/checkout (situated at the top right of the page) and it provides you with a breakdown and total price.

You then fill in a few details (name, address, etc), including your departure date. They will also ask you where you heard from them, ie friend/magazine.
Once done you go through the payment process and they accept all major credit and debit cards. After this is completed you will be sent a confirmation email and your tickets will be with you within 7 days.

If you wish to pay a deposit only you have to phone them to book your tickets:
For customers travelling outside of 6 weeks, a deposit of 20% can be placed for PHONE BOOKINGS ONLY, with the balance paid at least 6 weeks prior to your departure date, or by the 31st Dec 2006 (whichever is soonest). If you are booking within 6 weeks of departure, full payment is due at time of booking. Failure to pay the full balance by the 31st Dec 2006 could result in price increases or cancellation of your booking.

And voila your all set ohh yeah it's FREE postage!
Their website has a special offers section, which shows you what all offers they currently have running at your time of purchase, be it kids go free tickets, 3 days for the price of 2, etc.

When I booked last year I got 10 free budweiser beers, a phone card for use in the USA, a travel guide, ticket wallets and maps.
      This year I will receive:

      Exclusive 'Collectors Edition' Disney rucksack.
      Electronic currency converter
      A super-speed hand held fan
      Zinc stick sun block
      Pen
Orlando Theme Park Planning Guide & Map
      Disney guide
15 minute International phone card worth over $50
      Splash proof ticket wallet
Sun Cap and VIP WDW lanyard and badge - one per child (3-9)
Underwater camera (with bookings that include Discovery Cove)
You will need to check terms and conditions regarding these, as this year to get the above mentioned items I had to spend over £700, which was not hard as I was buying for all theme parks/dinner shows for 2 adults.

They have a group quote section on the website, which is great for big families or groups travelling together. You just fill in the form, any important information you feel is necessary, your details and then hit submit and they will get back to your within 24 hours regarding prices.
The next section is for ordering a brochure, this way you can sit at your lesiure and flick through the pages deciding where you want to go with your family and friends. You also get a free DVD if you order the Florida voucher. All brochures are free of charge.

They then have en expert view section which gives you an indepth look at wherever you wish to go. They inform you of What's New, What Not To Miss, What's On, Chosen Area On A Budget, Chosen Area For Big Spend. This is very helpful when planning your perfect holiday.
They then have a forum section, which is a great place to meet new people, get information on where to stay, where to eat, the hidden spots to visit, etc. Everyone on the forums are very helpful and you do not need to register to view the posts, you do however need to register if you want to reply to or place a new post.

The last section is the about us section, which gives you all the information you need to know about the company themselves, there is also an enquiry form here you can fill in and submit to them if you have any questions or queries. There is a link to customer reviews in here and also a link to 'What the papers say about us'.
The bottom of the page also has their booking conditions, privacy policy and security policy.

I would recommend this site to anyone who is planning a holiday at any time of the year, especially considering their price promise, although I have not managed to find anywhere cheaper than here. The best thing is that you are actually sent real tickets and don't get vouchers, which would mean extra queuing at the parks. They have thought of everything possible and are extremely helpful, infact I can't think of anyhthing they haven't covered and free gifts are always good (especially when they are not only for new customers).

Enjoy your holiday wherever you're going :)
