Ordered a mainboard with aut, for the sum of £27.04 incl vat ect. happy till i check my bankstatement they charge me £40.80, i never heard that they recieved my order, they never contacted me telling me the price had changed.
I would never recomend this company or even concider using them again

I cannot believe how terrible Aut's customer service is. I have been using them for 5 years and the items have always been okay. However when it comes to getting a replacement or refund they turn nasty. They refused to replace a monitor I purchased from them. Words cannot describe the amount of stress I got from Aut distribution when the graphics card I purchased from them did not work.

The guy I spoke to on the phone sounded very arrogant and was basically trying to fob me off. Asked me if I installed it correctly or whether I shorted it.

He eventually agreed for me to return it. Still awaiting confirmation that they have got it back.

Aut direct has the worse possible customer service of any computer retailer I have ever used. I purchased a base unit for £375, it arrived non working. I phoned them up about this and they told me to send it back to them. It cost me over £18 to return. It took them 3 weeks to test it and confirm it was faulty, they only had one guy working in their returns department and he was on holiday for a fortnight! They sent me an email claiming it was damaged in the post and that they will not be refunding or replacing the base unit. Pathetic company! I would think twice before buying from AUT ever. My last order was a real ordeal. Items arrived damaged by the courier, AUT were wholly unhelpful in refunding the damaged items. I sent about 5 emails and finally got a reply from their returns manager. He insisted I return the items to be checked. After I returned the items it took them ages to confirm I would be getting a refund but they would be helping themselves to 25% restocking fee!
