Advantages: No advantage with using them!

Disadvantages: Expensive, appalling customer service, horrible experience using them

Axminster Power Tools Ltd are to be avoided if you want to keep your sanity.

I would give them a minus star rating due to my experience I've had using them but I can't so I've given them a one star!

I bought a spray gun HVLP Fuji Mini Mite3 and they sent me the wrong spray gun...wasn't even a Fuji gun and also no mains lead included!
No worries I thought, I'll ring them up tell them about the mistake and they can send me out the correct part...simple! WRONG!!

I telephoned them and emailed them to explain the problem. I was then over the following MONTHS passed around from manager to manager (how many managers do they need for God sake?), and 3 months later we are standing in the County Court arguing the toss!

No body at Axminster wanted to take responsibility even though I had it in writing form them that what I was buying was the same as pictured on their website!
Even in Court they lied...could not believe what I was hearing!

I rightly won due to a breech of contract on their part...but that is not the point. Whatever happened to the saying "the customers always right", or "treat others how you would like to be treated yourself".

I know that there are people out there who will say "sour grapes" etc...but I won the case and so as far as I am concerned why would there be sour grapes on my part!
All I want to do is highlight a company that values its profits over any customer service! A company that treated me like scum from the very start!
I got the feeling that they thought I was trying to 'pull a fast one' on them
when all I wanted was a replacement/correct spray gun and a apology!
No apology ever came!

(I'm pretty sure they use the same customer service manual that Parcelforce use which basically sums it all up).

They day that they go into liquidation should be a public holiday throughout the land! I keep my fingers crossed.

There are a growing number of us that have decided to stand up against this tyrant. One more point I would like to make is how many 'bad reviews' have you seen regarding Axminster Power Tools Ltd? ...apart from this one!

I was threatened by members of a forum when I raised the topic concerning Axminsters customer service (lack of).

One other thing ...most of the workshop type forums/websites are run by/for Axminster Power Tools Ltd ...so don't expect a non biased review from these sites!

Summary: Avoid them and don't believe all the 5star reviews!
