Just had a new shopping complex open up in our area and, as my daughter was looking for a dress for her school leavers disco visited Bank Fashion. She picked the dress she wanted in the sale, was told by the assistant that it was a very expensive dress at one time so I bought it. On the night of my daughters leavers party we paid to have somebody do her hair and makeup, it was a special occasion so we wanted it to be special. When my daughter put the dress on the zip came apart. We tried everything to fix it but it would not work. In the end my daughter was so upset that she could not go. Today I took the dress back to the shop and spoke to the manager, explaining the story. She said that she would phone customer services and find out what they could do. I went to do more shopping and went back where I was told that as it was a manufacturing fault it would have to be sent back to be checked before a refund was given. I have dealt with many shops in my time and never been told that with clothes. My contract is with the store not the manufacture.
I am sure that they are selling seconds. Avoid this company like a plague.
UPDATE: Have written to managing director who puts me back to customer service. They brought out the rule book again and passed the buck again.
UPDATE 2: After writing a post on the Facebook page (twice because the first one was deleted), they finally admitted that they was wrong not to accept it back, agreed to a refund plus postage costs. I sent it back recorded, it was delivered safe and sound but they have now lost it.
I made an online order just before Xmas, but returned the items by tracked mail which they received on the 08/01. After several weeks had passed I contacted them asking if they had received the goods which they confirmed. However they refused to refund me as they could not locate the parcel in their warehouse. Two more weeks passed and again on several separate occasions they informed me that when they located the parcel in their warehouse they would refund me. now after five weeks with still no refund I have now taken up a dispute with my credit card company.........DO NOT SHOP HERE I wished I had seen the reviews before I committed to purchasing. The service is damn right shocking and unacceptable. I will NEVER shop there again, and advise you do the same.
Read the reviews they are true, think very carefully. I do not trust them to provide a good service. I have had just excuses. order No BK26104025
There has been a Bank store in my town for years now but it's always looked a little to try hard for me to want to walk in.
After having a wardrobe clear out, I decided to check out the Bank website to see if there was anything nice I could get my hands on.
I was pretty impressed with the range of brands they stock, including Jack Jones and Superdry. Prices aren't as high as many bigger name stores, but they would still bite a chunk out of your wallet unless you get it in the sale.
One of the things that drew me to Bank website was the fact that you could collect the items from store for free. I am a big fan of this 'click and collect' method. It means you pay for the product but not the (sometimes ridiculously high) delivery charges.
I'd advise you to shop on bankfashion online if you like to look hip and current. Perfect for younger people who like to look cool and wear all the brand names.
As for the function of the website, I think that it could improve a little. There have been numerous times when I have seen an item (mainly on sale), it said it was in stock, but once I clicked on it, I would get a message saying that the purchase could not be completed because it was out of stock. This kind of thing really frustrates me. I am surprised that these kinds of website mistakes are allowed to go on for so long.
But if you're looking for the more affordable brand names and the latest fashion, Bank is the way to go.
Bankfashion.co.uk is a fashion outlet site that I stumbled upon recently when I carried out a search for Superdry clothing on Google. They don't sell much of their own brand of clothing, instead they tend to stock items from some of the most popular brands and I'm sure you'll find a few of your favourites on the site. If you visit the site you will find a page listing all of the brands they stock. My personal favourites are;
Red or Dead
The prices of their items aren't a lot different from other sites thats sell the same brands, they do sometimes have items on sale though which are reasonable. So it's not expensive, but it's not the cheapest either. The style of clothing on the site varies a lot too from sporty to trendy to dressy to glam etc. so there's something to suit most occasions. I personally prefer the casual stuff on this site though, some of their shoes are lovely too.
Bank delivers globally to a very wide range of countries all at different costs, but for UK delivery it is free for orders over £50 otherwise it is £3.99. I ordered a pair of shoes last month from the site and they arrived within 3 days so I was more than happy. I could also Track my Order by logging into my account on the website which is always an added bonus when shopping online. The order process was very simple, I just added what I wanted to my shopping bag and then went to the 'Checkout' page. It only took a few minutes to create an account with them and of course this was free too. I received email confirmation of my order which is good because I always like to keep these emails until my order has reached me safely.
I was happy with my order so I didn't need to go through the Returns process, but if I had needed to I could return my order by visiting one of their Bank stores which apparently they have 50+ of nationwide, or I could use the enclosed returns label to send it back via post. Delivery charge is not refunded though unless there was a genuine fault with your order.
Payment methods accepted are Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, Solo, American Express & Paypal. The womens clothing sizes available vary depending on which brand you are buying, but they don't tend to go higher than a UK 14 in clothing and a UK 8 in shoes. Mens clothing is available up to XXL and their shoes up to a Size 13 UK. More accurate sizing measurements can be found on their website.
There is an option to sign up to receive their newsletter via email or even follow them on Facebook on Twitter.
*~* A little tip from me! *~*
If you do have Facebook or Twitter it is a good idea to follow your favourite fashion sites as you will have exclusive access to several discounts, news and competitions every now and again! To follow a fashion site on Facebook you just have to click the 'Like' button on their page. I'm not sure how it works on Twitter as I don't use this site.
