When I recently joined a site that pays me through PayPal, I immediately had to find out where I was going to use my earnings, since Amazon wasn't an option. I was generally surfing last Saturday night when I came across Barnes & Noble. I wasn't looking for books, I wanted to buy a new PC game. I have just finished at Uni., and for my dissertation I was trying to get hold of a book that had been highly recomended to me, and I searched everywhere. The thing is, and maybe this is just because I haven't looked hard enough, there aren't any online book shops offering a wide range of the rarer or out of print titles on this side of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Barnes & Noble: After 6 orders, my assessment (149 words)
by - written on 01/07/00 (Very useful, 33 readings)
Rating:

I have placed six orders with Barnes & Noble and this is my experience: - PRICES fairly closely matched those of Amazon.com, as did their carriage/postage costs. - RANGE was sometimes slightly better than Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk. They were sometimes able to supply books that Amazon could not supply. - INFORMATION on ...  Read the complete review
