Benson's World. Seems like they fancy themselves as something grand. NOT SO. My experience with them has lasted three months so far and I still have no DVDs. Very few people seem to have heard of Bensonsworld, and it's only just an exaggeration to say that this is a minor tragedy. In my experience their prices for videos and DVDs are frequently significantly cheaper than those of rival companies, especially since postage and packaging is free for all video orders to the UK, and all DVD orders to anywhere in the world. The website is very simple to use and completely annoyance free. For example, there are none of those pop-up adverts to come along and ruin your day. Most orders are despatched within a week, so Bensonsworld does not score too highly here, but I am more than happy to put up with the wait, ... Read the complete review

My family have used Benson's world to buy more than 15 DVD's over a two year period. Overall we can safetly say that the experience has been a pleasant one. Most DVDs have arrived within 10 days and the prices are extremely competitive. However there is a flip side which I have experienced; when purchasing the DVD Snatch, we encountered a number of problems. The main reason was that it did not arrive, despite me sending three emails. After more than a month I complained to Web trader as this was contravening their code of conduct. Sure enough within a matter of hours of my complaint I had an email from Benson's World apologising and ... Read the complete review

After searching through of loads of websites offering cheap dvd's but finding out most come with catch, I stumbled upon Bensons World. They have an excellent range of DVD's and Videos that were loads cheaper than in the shops. Prices vary but are usually a lot cheaper than you would find in the shops ( I saved over £8 on one DVD) You can even pre order copies that are being released in the near future, and they also sell a wide range of special edition or Box sets. I did have one problem with the first dvd that I ordered...it never turned up!! However I phoned up and they were brilliant. They apologised and said they would re order it striaght away. I ... Bensons World? Never heard of them? Me neither, till the other night that was, when my friend asked me if I wanted a free copy of 'Night of the Living Dead', you know, one of the great Romero Zombie movies. They're well cool, so when I got the chance of getting this free on DVD I leapt at the chance. It turns out that it isn't quite free, it costs £1.50. Still a bargain, although how £1.50 is free I don't know, they don't even claim it's for P&P. So if you fancy a free copy of this DVD head on over to, www.bensons-world.co.uk/freedvd.htm Oh, and don't complain to me if it's not there anymore, no doubt ... Read the complete review
