Newest Review: ... there was a link so you can keep an eye on how your order is proceeding. My order had status NEW. I was perturbed when a couple of days later it still had status NEW. What was happening with my order? Was there a problem? Were they charging the wrong price? When the status remained NEW for what seemed like too long I rang up customer services and got an answer phone. I do not like them so I tried again later. After about 3 attempts I was put through to someone in customer services who said that they had no record of my order so gave me he head office number to phone. When I got through I go another answer phone so I decided to send... more

Premium Review bigsave.com: Freezers at freezing prices. (753 words)

Our Freezer had finally bitten the dust after 12 years of constant use. The contents of it had become a block of ice with some food somewhere inside. There was nothing I could do but look for another one to replace it. Having bought a new fridge last year I decided to buy the freezer to go with it. I knew the exact model I wanted so I decided to look around the web to find the best buy I could. After consulting Pricerunner I discovered that Bigsave.com had by far the best offer. They charged £219.78 the next cheapest being £226.99 and the most expensive was £289.97. At £219.78 it was £40 cheaper than my local retailer who seemed significant enough to order ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review bigsave.com: The next Argos? (762 words)

Ok, superstores, no, wait, stay with me here chaps! – Yes, not very interesting, but we know that we’re going to get mostly everything at one of these places, from Duvet Covers to my next kettle. But I don’t understand how Argos can say that they are a superstore, they don’t sell CD’s, Insurance (well, not for travel anyhow) They haven’t even got a range of DVDs or Videos. Well....... I’ve found (or should I say refound) a brilliant site – Bigsave.com. It’s an English site, which will ship to America or Europe (for a price). This Superstore is corking, not only does it offer the top 50 albums, but it comes ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Your online department store (225 words)

I originally started visiting Bigsave to collect beenz but gave up soon afterwards because there is just so much on the site that i could have spent hours trawling through all the departments... ...however, the other day, for a little inspiration, i went back to the site, had a browse, and found an inspiring christmas gift. The price was good, especially as i had the option to pay in beenz (which actually worked out cheaper). However, I wouldn't say that the prices were anything special and I would normally choose to shop on the high street. The thing about bigsave is that it has all the departments that a real-life department store offers, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review bigsave.com: bigsave for books (296 words)
by - written on 19/11/00 (Useful, 47 readings)

I have ordered from Bigsave.com and found there service good. I am mainly looking for books for my sister who is at uni and there were some good prices available in that department. Each department has a large selection on offer. Some categories for you: Books Software (new category) Fashion and jewellery Gifts Toys and games And Computers There are a few more too. You can redeem your Beenz here, but as RAPAZ said, the goods on offer there are plainly pap! Stick to the stuff you can buy in the main store. I think they have been updating their site recently, (it didn’t used to have a dandruff problem!) ...  Read the complete review
