When looking to buy CD?s and DVD?s online my usual choices are CdWow and occasionally if the price is right DVD.co.uk but I?m always prepared to give others a go and with this in mind over the last few months I?ve used Blackstar.co.uk quite a lot and I thought it was about time to do a review on the site? Blackstar.co.uk used to be one of my favourite web sites for buying DVD'S and Videos but about a year ago there prices went up, they started to charge for delivery and just generally let themselves slip. I sometimes see things on the site that are perhaps marginally cheaper than other sites or the high street but that is rarely the case. Okay so their delivery is quite fast, usually slightly faster than both Amazon and HMV online but is still only average. The customer service is generally quite good and you can expect a reply to any email query you might have within 24 hours but that isn't anything that other sites don't offer or in fact something that ...

I actually first discovered this website when redeeming by dooyoo miles, found them competitive and have bought a number of videos from them since then. Blackstar offer a huge range of videos and DVDs for films, sport, musicals and so on. I have never had any problems finding a video or DVD as each one has been in stock. Blackstar offer a search facility where you type in your video name (similar to a search engine) and it comes up with all of the possibilities. Most videos come up with normal size (for standard TVs), widescreen and DVD versions, extending the range still further, making it much large than you would find in a conventional shop. ...
