Advantages: Cheap stylish clothes/ Good customer service

Disadvantages: Cant try the clothes on

BooHoo.com is a website which sells clothes for women sizes 8-14 which covers the mainstream sizes, but unfortunate for a lot of people as this isnt a very big range.

The clothes are very cheap, you can buy dresses for approx £18, tops for approx £5, etc...and there are also always sales going on - at the moment there are items going for 70% off !! Not the best items but there are still some quite cool things in there.

The styles not only range from what is currently in fashion but also basic everyday generic things like t-shirts, shirts for work, etc. You can find almost anything you want on here, not only clothes but accessories, jackets, shoes... I do not find the look of these additional items attractive though, i feel they all look rather tacky.

The clothes are well presented on this simple and well designed site with the ability to zoom in on the items and look at the item in all directions. The only downfall is that the items barely have a description other than the name. It is easy to find what you require and once you have clicked into the necessary category, it brings up a whole picture list of clothing. You can choose how to view these, whether it be on a sliding bar or a basic list.

I have ordered from here about 3 or 4 times and in all honesty have always been slightly disappointed with items, left feeling like they looked better in the pictures and on the models!! I suppose you are taking the same risks as you would with a catalogue, not been able to try it on or feel the material.

The service is brilliant, always delivered near enough the next day. I have also had a problem once when i ordered the same item twice by accident. I called the helpline and it was simply deleted with no problems.

If you sign up to the newsletter you get about 1 or 2 emails a week with offers, etc. Its quite a good read!


TIP: Search on Google for voucher codes for the site before you order as there is near enough always a discount code somewhere !!

Summary: Try it out but dont expect the quality to be outstanding
