As you may (or may not) know, I'm a bit of a shopaholic. Whether it's big brands or high street bargains, I love it all. I decided to give this website a try after seeing it advertised in nearly every magazine I've read this year, I had heard it was extremely cheap and great quality, so I thought I'd see if they had exactly what I was looking for...

Now, what was I looking for? I decided I needed a cheap pair of sunglasses, I love my Mirrored Ray-Ban Aviators and my beloved Chanel sunnies, but they just wouldn't do for a wild week away, I didn't want to lose/break sunglasses that cost me, well, far too much, so I decided to get cheap fakes for the week away, great idea, huh?

As soon as I arrived on the boohoo.com homepage, I was met with a black background which hosted a main image of around 3 models with lovely, bright clothes on and some links to separate parts of the site. I've recently come to learn that boohoo.com change their homepage image at least once a week, so the website never looks boring.

At the top of the page, there are 5 links. 4 are white, and one is pink with a little shopping basket next to it - this takes to you your online basket (pretty obvious, right?). The 4 white links, 3 of them (women, looks and help) are drop down menus that take you to other sections of the site, and the 4th, my account/login, is your account page or the login page if you haven't already logged in or registered.

Under the 'women' drop down menu, there are around 15 different links which take you to the desired items you are looking for. This makes the site extremely easy to navigate, and the rest of the site is set out in this way too.

So far, we've come to learn that the site is very user friendly, and pretty much idiot proof, but what about the products? Do they have a wide range of stock? Does it look cheap? Is it inexpensive?

Well, the stock is HUGE. When I clicked on 'sunglasses', I expected maybe, 8 different pairs of sunglasses to pop up on my screen, oh no no no no, this wasn't the case - 4 pages of sunglasses popped up, and there were 28 on each page. That's 112 pairs of sunglasses for those of you who can't be bothered to figure that out. It wasn't only the sunglasses section that had a huge range, but EVERY section was widely stocked with plenty things to choose from.
Some of the products (all over the site, not just sunglasses), look quite cheap, but others look just as good as the high street or even as good as designer but for a fraction of the price.

In the end, I chose sunglasses almost IDENTICAL to the ones I already had (the only difference is that the Ray-Ban ones have 'Ray-Ban' on them). These were £8. £102 cheaper than the ones I already purchased which, if I'm honest, made me feel quite sick. After browsing the site for another half an hour, I decided on only buying the sunglasses just incase the stuff turned out to be bad quality and £12.85 later (£4.85 for postage), I received my confirmation email. I was told that any orders placed before 4pm would be delivered the next day, and any orders placed after that would be delivered the day after the next. My order was placed at 4.16pm on the wednesday of that week, so I didn't expect them to turn up until friday....how wrong I was. They were delivered at 8am the next morning with the newest issue of MORE - my favourite magazine - stashed inside.
Let's just say that was a pretty good morning.

I wore these everyday for a week, lost them twice, sat on them once and stood on them twice - they're still in perfect condition. Either I'm just lucky or these sunglasses are amazing quality. Knowing how unlucky I truly am, I'll go for the latter.

So now we've come to the conclusion that boohoo.com is idiot proof, has amazing stock, great prices, fabulous delivery time, great quality and comes free with a great magazine - it sounds too good to be true, but it's not, this place REALLY exists.

Check this out if you're looking for the latest trends for a fraction of the price or if you just want to treat yourself. Also, just a little heads up, they don't do men's clothing, so you men who like to wear men's clothing, this isn't for you :).
