Boohoo is a clothing site that sells cheap clothing. The clothes are updated frequently and rather bang on trend as I have seen some items similar to what is on the high street and in designer boutiques.

The sale on Boohoo goes up to 75%. The items do go quickly so be sure to get on the website once they send out the email to announce the sale. There is also the email updates which comes rather frequently to showcase what is popular and trendy.

The one thing that irks me about the site is navigation. The clothes are shown 4 in a row, scroll left/right button with a 'view all' and page numbers button at the button. "View all" apparently means 16 items will be shown on one page and I have to scroll to the bottom to click on 'next' or the page number (with pages adjusted to accomodate 16 items a page instead of 4 items).

The worst thing is when I click on an item, add it to basket, click on continue shopping or the 'Back' browser button internet explorer, there is always some error that returns me to either the first page of the clothes, or the previous page but never the page that I was looking at. Hence, when I am on page 4, I will be directed back to Page 1 or page 3. It is rather inconvienient as I spend time scrolling through most pages again especially if I forgot where I was at.

Quality wise, there are a few dudes. I had good finds but there are also bad finds like a dress with a belt where the screws in the belt was actually slowly rusting (and the dress was white) when it was delivered. Returns are free but they charge 4.95 pounds originally for delivery (higher than most sites). What I tend to do is to order more, and return those that I do not like that much after seeing it in person. The free return does help if you have heavy items like shoes and bags. They do take a while to refund since the return needs to be processed. The returns section do not let you fill in much information about why you returned it though. I have always tried to give more information with my return parcel to help them improve their quality of clothes but not sure if they ever took notice of it

Sizing wise, some clothes are really not true to size. I had size 8 clothing which was much close to size 10. Generally, they tend to be more on the large side.

I would shop here if nearing the end of pay day, looking for cheap stuff just for a cheap thrill or something trendy or just because i am impulse shopping.
