Advantages: Great value for money, quality and choice

Disadvantages: Postage is a bit expensive if you only want 1 or 2 items, but nothing too substantial

There I was, sat with my magazine perched on my lap, looking at the 'latest trends' pages and a few items caught my eye from Boohoo.com. I love online shopping, well I say shopping but usually I just look! I had seen things from this website before in various magazines and on TV, but automatically assumed that it was an expensive brand so didn't give it a second thought.

However, this magazine listed the prices as well and I could not believe my eyes when I saw a gorgeous looking trench coat for just £25 - bargain! Also, it was next to a Matalan trench coat, which was £35 and another one from New Look was £60.

Then I saw a pair of gorgeous, very expensive and designer-looking heels for just £20 - that was it, I had to see more! So, laptop at the ready I hastily typed in 'boohoo.com' to my search bar and I was in heaven!

When you first go on to the website it is very clear and easy to navigate. It is black with pink writing and across the top it is clearly labeled with 'Women', 'Looks', 'Help', 'My account/Login' and 'My Basket'.


*Women*
This is a list of all the usual products you would expect from an online shop, except it's better than most because it's not to complicated but they have narrowed things down in to more categories which is brilliant if you are looking for something in particular. These categories are:

- Just Arrived
- Dresses
- Tops
- Jackets and Coats
- Shoes and Boots
- Accessories
- Skirts
- Knitwear
- Jeans
- Playsuits and Trousers
- Leggings
- Lingerie and Nightwear
- £5 and under
- £10 and under
- Clearance

Once you have chosen one of these (depending on what you clicked on) you will either see another little menu underneath or go to another page.

Here is an example of what the second menu looks like:

- Tops
+ T-shirts and Vests
+ Tops Day
+ Tops evening

If you selected an item that doesn't have an extra menu (i.e. Dresses) then you will go to a new page which has a simple and clear layout. I especially like this layout as I have a notebook laptop and everything is smaller.

This is also a bonus for people who don't have great eyesight. The page will have large images of the models wearing the item or just a picture of the item itself and when you scroll down to the bottom there is a row of page numbers. This is probably one of the only downsides to the website as they are quite small and sometimes you click on the wrong one.


*Looks*
This is a fabulous little bonus page packed with groups of their items put together to create looks, some of which are celebrity inspired (i.e. Kate Moss). They include tops, dresses, trousers, shoes, bags, necklaces etc. As well as the celebrity looks there are other styles like retro looks, 60s looks etc. I think this is a really nice touch and great for people looking for that prefect outfit for a night out or even just everyday.


*Help*
The name says it all really! It is basically just a few pages like 'FAQs', 'Size Guide', 'Returns Policy', 'Delivery Details' etc.


*My account/Login*
Like many websites nowadays, there is the option to sign up (this is optional and I have personally never bothered). You can tick a box saying if you want to recieve the latest updates via texts and you can also get a newsletter but you can sign up without opting for either of these options.


*My Basket*
This is basically where all your products go and it's great because you can see them all in one place and remove anything you have changed your mind about at any time. It also gives you the total price of all your products. Postage is £4.99 which is ok, but not great if you only want one item because you don't really want to be paying more for the postage than you did for the product!


Another great thing about this website is the sales! I get excited just hearing the word sale and sometimes can be dissapointed, but BooHoo.com really go for it with their sales. As I mentioned before there is a £5 and under, £10 and under and a Clearance section. You can find some amazing bargains here (i.e. I found a gorgeous Peplum Dress for £5 reduced from £20! Even £20 is a good price for a gorgeous dress. There are lots more dresses, underwear, shorts, skirts etc. all for very cheap).

On the whole this website is the perfect shop for girls who love glamorous/everyday clothes, shoes and accessories for amazing prices all in one place ...and that's why is deserves 5 stars!
