do not buy a d-link dsl-320b modem. whether it's from broadbandbyer or not.
the product doesn't work, it is not fit for purpose.
there is no comprehensive firewall as stated on the broadband buyer site.
the firewall is ineffective as it allocates the public ip address and not the internal one (this very bad for those expecting some protection by the device)
you cannot use anything other than the default internal ip address for dhcp (when it does decide to work)
it takes to long to deliver pages when it does work (completely default settings, not really configured), high latency.
a completely useless piece of junk i will lend up chucking in the bin.
thank you broadbandbuyer!

bought what i lead to believe to be a brand new Netgear router modem only to find upon opening the box that the plastic wrapping around the modem has already been opened with the blue Netgear sticker that supposed to keep it sealed been ripped open. emailed and phoned customer support, answered by Asians, claimed that its not their fault because all deliveries get shelved straight away and reckons that its Netgear's fault???!!!.... really broadbandbuyer.co.uk!! i have given 2 stars for its fast delivery and they have offered for a swap, but i couldnt be bothered to waste my postage plus more of my time for their dishonesty! wouldnt buy from them again!

We ordered 08 April 2008 7 wireless USB adapters using the online system and the next day they arrived.Good. Then we ordered further 5 adapters and we received a text message(then email) indicating our postcode was wrong! and the delivery went back and they demand further £8.50+vat for another delivery. We questioned the customer services about the first delivery which was succesful and why the second delivery failed! their reply was we originally put the wrong postcode and first delivery was corrected by the courier but this one they did not.
We phoned the delivery company only to be told that the delivery was not active yet and in any case if the post code was wrong (the wrong postcode didnt correspond to any address anyway) they would normally phone the company and get the correct one
SO THE QUESTION IS WHAT IS THE £8.50 FOR? NO REPLY YET!

Disgusting company, offer no assistance via telephone even though they sell connectivity equipment? Product was returned deemed incompatible by my ISP and after dealing with some truly ignorant staff and kept waiting 48 hours "sorry the RMA department are on lunch for the next two hours" I was refunded 25% less than I paid for it due to ... An absolutely appalling company. Do not buy from them.
I purchased a router in early November and returned it as not compatible with my PC. I was promised in writing (as per my legal rights) that they would refund the product less delivery costs.
Well it's now nearly Christmas Day and despite many emails and phone calls they still have not refunded the money.
Avoid this company at all costs.

I used Broadbandbuyer as they were extremely helpful when trying to determine which products I needed to set up a wireless home network. They recommended Netgear which worked fine but the laptop device software made changes we were not happy with. Netgear were worse than useless in helping us despite it being a know ... Christmas Day 2005, something was odd, the router lights wasn't doing their normal flickering, it had broken! So on Boxing day, I order a new router from BroadbandBuyer, not because they were cheap, they were in fact more expensive for the majority of their common products, but because I had been recommended a Billion router, not sold by most ... Broadbuyer Buyer stock the lastest network solutions at good prices. This time last year we were looking for a wireless solution to acompany our broadband connection. We had vouchers for PCWorld so we brought the router + network cards from PCWorld. So then we were thinking are we going to spend our money on the well overpriced modem at ... Other than holidays, the sort of purchases I have tended to make over the Internet have tended to be on the low side. That way, if anything goes seriously wrong, like a fraudulent or insolvent vendor, you haven't lost too much. Where holidays are concerned, you've usually got the protection of ABTA so there isn't the same concern. For product ... Read the complete review
