Advantages: Nice range and good value

Disadvantages: Didn't knock on door when delivered and left flowers on doorstep

When asked what she wanted for her birthday recently my friend answered flowers, so after a bit of research online I ended up on bunches.co.uk making an order.

The site is lovely and colourful and it has lots of pictures of beautiful looking flowers even on the homepage. It's very easy to navigate and to find exactly what you're looking for.

They don't have the biggest range of flowers, but when comparing them to other sites I felt that they seemed to offer the best value for money in terms of what you got for the price you paid.

They have a lovely selection of bouquets starting from £9.99 and ranging up to about £40. The flowers all look really beautiful in the photos, and the mid-priced ones which is what I was interested in, all looked to be a very good size. And as a bonus they include delivery and a little box of chocolates in the price!

Ordering was really simple and you can choose from a range of cards and gifts to go with your order for a small extra charge. You can also choose the message you want on your card, and it shows you a preview of how the card will look with your words on it so you can edit it and make it just how you want it.

They also have a loyalty scheme where you can earn 'posy points' on all your orders, which you can then use to get money off your next order. It works out at 50p for every £10 you spend, which I think is quite a reasonable value.

The bouquet I chose cost £26.99 and it was a stunning looking bouquet, my friend was chuffed to bits with it when it arrived. The flowers were very fresh and healthy and they lasted really well. The chocolates are also a nice little extra touch to make it that bit more special to receive. Even though I personally find flowers a complete waste of money, I do think that they were good value for what we got.

It arrived on the day I'd chosen and within the time-frame that they'd said it would. The only negative thing I have to say is that whoever delivered the flowers simply left them on my friend's doorstep. She'd been in all day and would have heard if they'd knocked on the door, so she's sure that they didn't even bother knocking. It was only when I went round to see her that I found them there on the doorstep, where anyone could have come past and made off with them!

All in all I think this is a very good site for flowers, they just need to sort out their delivery people!
