This year was my first wedding anniversary and I needed to get my husband something to remember our special day with and came up with the idea of getting him an experience to remember.

At present the company offers over 2200 experiences for people of all ages.

Founded back in 1999, they are now the leading UK gift specialist.

*~*My Experience*~*

For £65 I bought my husband the Aston Martin Experience as this is his dream car and having heard him do nothing but go on about them I decided this had to be an experience of a lifetime.

I went online and selected the driving experiencesto establish which option would be best for him and decided upon the Aston Martin Experience which offered him the opportunity to drive 3 laps in the Aston Martin Vantage. The standard price for this was £99 but it was on offer for £75 and available at a variety of locations.

I selected that item and decided to add the voucher gift pack for him which meant the voucher would be personalised with a lanyard, keyring, activity information sheet, gift tin and presentation box, this was an additional £4.95.

First class delivery was an additional £1.95 which I opted for as I was in no real hurry for the delivery of the item and begrudged the idea of paying £7.95 for special delivery!

Once I had added the item to my basket I scoured the internet for an offer code and managed to get a further 10% discount of my order and placed the order with my debit card.

Within seconds I received an email confirmation of my order and was advised that the item would be delivered within the next 48 hours to my specified address.
I am pleased to say that the item arrived within 24 hours and was discreetly packaged so my husband had no idea what it was.

*~*The Booking Process*~*

I am pleased to say that the booking process was relatively simple, I decided to try and book the experience for our wedding anniversary and incorporate it with a night away however this was not to be. I hadn't realised that I had purchased a midweek voucher and for the weekend it would be an additional £25 which then put the offer back up to £100 which was the original price.
I contacted the venue to try and arrange a date but unfortunately it was fully booked as I was trying to book for a month in advance which was a little too late, so I decided to leave the date open for my husband to book when he preferred as it meant driving 2 hours away from where we lived.

On our anniversary I presented the item to my husband who was really excited and looked forward to booking the experience, eventually we decided on a date 2 months later midweek. I called the venue and advised of the experience I had purchased and was advised of the dates on which this experience operated and the times currently available.
I selected the date and confirmed this back to the admin staff, they advised me that once the date was booked it could not be changed and I was advised to quote the buyagift code to activate the experience.

I was then required to provide a contact address and telephone number along with an email address as the booking details would be emailed to that email address and it would need to be printed and presented on the day of the experience or you would not be able to partake in the experience.
The email was sent within a few minutes of me making the telephone call and the date and time was confirmed on the email for verification purposes.

This was the very first time I have booked an experience and found the process so simple and easy to follow and very competitively priced.
I would definately use buyagift again as it offers a reliable and efficient service and included in my package was a buyagift gift card offering me £5 of every following order with no expiry date which I think was an excellent reward to entice you into booking with them again as well as a 10% discount voucher valid for well over 12 months.
