CD-WOW.com (not to be confused with CD-NOW.com) is in a way the Our Price of online music vendors. It does not have a wide stocklist, concentrating mainly on chart albums and best sellers. What it does do however, it does very well. Single CD albums generally retail at £8.99. The savings on double albums are less impressive. P&P is free. The company often runs promotions selling off old stock (admittedly usually crap), and also promotions in conjunction with virgin.net where top albums are often sold for £5. The CDs come from Hong Kong, usually within 5-6 days.

The customer service is very good. On one order that was botched partly due to me, partly to them they were keen to acknowledge responsibility and rectify the problem

The site itself is very easy to use and navigate. It is a polished looking site which downloads quickly. Ordering is easy and you are kept informed every step of the way as to how the order is progressing.

This site is not for hard to find obscure music. However, if your music tastes include some mainstream or chart stuff, then you will likely find it here, and unlikely find it cheaper. The company offer value and good service and deserve to do well.
