Advantages: Amazing deals

Disadvantages: Reletively small range

From what I can gather, CDiscount is a French company, basically similar to Amazon in the massive-online-retailer stakes. The site has been up and running in the UK for a while, but judging from the small range, I think they may be conducting a soft launch in the UK before going for Amazon and the other online stores.

I've been attracted to CDiscount due the great offers they have on clothing and household goods. I picked up a steam iron with 40% off the RRP and a pair of Evisu jeans for only £45 - a complete bargain.

Not only does CDiscount offer great prices, but it is also on Quidco for those of you who like your online cashback websites. Plus it's a favourite with people using the Hot UK Deals website (well worth a look), so you can get even more money off! In addition, you get £10 off your first order over £50 and free delivery (at the time of my last order a few months ago).

I have heard that CDiscount have some problems with returns (not helpful when buying clothes) but I haven't returned anything so I can't comment. Plus they use the Home Delivery Network, which have received a number of negative reviews themselves. Again, I've not really had any problems so I can't comment.

All in all, a great website to have a quick trawl through and find some great deals.
