Newest Review: ... DVD's and CD's. I was only interested in looking at the DVD shop so i went there and i was surprised at the variety of products they have, they are all reasonably priced as they are all pre-owned but they have all had their condition verified so its great to pick up a bargain. I think i bought about 5 DVD's that weren't too old and i think i paid about £17 for them which i thought was great ... more

I first came across this shop when my ex housemate arrived home from town with a bag full of DVD's that she said she got for about £20 and i was intrigued. So next time i popped into town i decided to take a look in the shop in town. We have two CEX stores in Leicester one which deals primarily in computer software and accessories aswell as mobile phones, the other sells computer games, DVD's and CD's. I was only interested in looking at the DVD shop so i went there and i was surprised at the variety of products they have, they are all reasonably priced as they are all pre-owned but they have all had their condition verified so its great to pick up ...  Read the complete review

I first discovered CEX while in holiday in Edinburgh, and was very surprised by their wide range of good quality second hand products. Their prices of products are quite low and I now shop there on a regular basis. I don't feel the need to pay £10 for a dvd that I can pick up for a couple of pound at my local CEX and that is why I highly recommend them. They also offer you the ability to trade-in old games, cds, and dvds. Although they may not be worth much if they've been around for years, the money offered is generally fair and you can get more for an item if you trade it in for something else that they're selling in-store. Even better is the fact that you ...  Read the complete review

This is the online version of the stores that are in most major towns now. There are 2 sections to the website, one is buying second hand electrical goods like xboxs, dvds, cds, console games, computer games and other things like that. The other section is selling, you can enter all the products that you want to sell, and get a quote for how much they will buy them for. You sell the goods by entering them, and then sending them to the website address given. Personally I would not do this, I would go to a branch in person, then you can actually get cash in hand that day, rather than waiting for weeks on end. Also your precious xbox could ...  Read the complete review

I've been waiting over 3 weeks for a £2.50 DVD I ordered. I did something wrong and questioned why it was taking so long as it had been in awaiting dispatch state for 2 weeks. I got a reply that it had been sent and they had the cheek to tell me to wait 28 days and to read the T&C's. Well me being me I read them and replied back pointing out these T&C's, basically in my option they were wrong as my item still said that it had not been dispatched and I didn't receive any email confirmation that it was sent.. Still over a week later nothing had arrived and it still says awaiting dispatch on my account...so I attempted to get help ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cex.co.uk: Cex - Electronics Shop - Dont Bother (200 words)

They sold us an xbox which had been banned by microsoft as they sell goods without checking them! We rang, after going in the store to get the number because you cant get it from online or the standard 0845 number it just gives you a website address. The staff confirmed they would exchange it so we went in. They kept us waiting an hour and half to sort it in the shop because the manager of the Preston store was to busy being rude to do his job. It was only when Microsoft advised what we had already told him that he began to realise there were some issues with the sale of faulty goods. Good to sell stuff to, even if its dodgy it ...  Read the complete review
