Advantages: The chocolates look Delicous and the presentation is excellant.
Disadvantages: The Price.
Looking for that extra special present? How about a box of luxury chocolates, from chocolatier Hudson Gray. The maker of these finest chocolates is Andrew Gray, with His training and expertise He went on to create "Hudson Gray" back in 1993.Only the finest ingredients are used to create the unique flavours and textures. On the site you will be able to read about the History of chocolate and about cocoa plantations. But more importantly is the Chocolates themselves. What do they have to offer? Luxury handmade chocolates, all presented in fancy packaging. If its chocolates for your loved one you want, then how about a "Red velvet" covered heart shaped box, complete with Red morning Dew roses. Inside beautifully presented are chocolates hand made with in Milk,Dark and White. You get 455gs of chocolates and the price is £32.80. Although these chocolates are expensive, this particular Box looks really classy and the chocolates literally fill the entire Box. "The Theatre Box",now the packaging on this Box is what I would class as just a BIT over the top very fussy looking. It is covered in brightly coloured flowers and finished off with a bright Fushia coloured bow. It is far too much for Me,it actually looks tacky and cheap. But for all that the chocolates inside do make up for the packaging. Again you will find a nicely presented assortment of chocolates inside. Price tags on these range from £11.50 for a 255g box to £41.50 for 750gs. If you like "chocolates and truffles",these are displayed in a clear lidded top box. They are filled with Buche Orange,Truffle Cafe, chocolate Decadence and Lemon Sorbet. They are available in boxes of 12 or 18. With the lowest price being £7.80 up to £12.55. The "Favours" range is they say ideal for a wedding table. In a Gold coloured octagonal Box you will get th
ree chocolate truffles containing Champayne, each Box costs £3.25. Other selections available include "Gold Ballotin",filled with over fifty chocolates, from £8.65 for 227g to £16.40 for 454g. "Ladies Gold" a nice Gold coloured box complete with corsage, tied with a satin Ribbon. Here you get two tiers of chocolates in either Milk,Plain or White.price is £18.65 for a 330g box. Last but not least The "Gold Signature" Box,containing a selection for all occassions.price £15.80 for 330g box. The chocolates offered on this site do look Delicous, they wreak of pure quality. The presentation is top notch, nobody would ever feel that they were receiving a cheap box of chocolates. The downside has to be the price of them,I couldnt imagine many people spending £40 on one box of choclates unless money is of no object. Worth a look though even if it was to drool!!

- 28/04/01 I see what you mean by chocolates for the rich. If a normal person bought any of these chocolates, they'd soon fail to qualify for anything near rich! |
