i think comet sucks! they promise to deliver on a specific date but never do! they really need to work on it! i wanted to order the new iPod touch and they said they wud deliver it in 2 weeks.... its been a month and they havnt delivered it yet!
im never gonna shop from comet! trust me, ur better off with curry's or dixons or even argos! their customer services suck as well! they cant deliver on time at all
Summary: Comet is one of the worst shops i've ordered from in my life!

- 13/06/09 I totally agree with you that comet properly sucks. I had a very bad experience today with them. I bought a digital camera (Kodak 10.3 Mega Pixels) as a gift for someone just a few days ago. I checked it last night and it gave me a proper headache. The picture and zoom quality were so low and it took forever to install. The computer system still didn't recognise it so at that point at decided to give it back and get a refund on it. I thought it would be straight forward process but they gave me a shock of life this morning when they told me that I was not able to have the refund. According to their terms and conditions, you can still get a refund if you had opened the box in which case they will deduct 10% off the money you actually paid. Well the guys played football with me by reffereing me to one another for a good amount of time and finally told me that I could either get another product in the same price range or get a gift voucher. I had no plans for that but still took a look through the available options and there was nothing there. I agreed to get another camera but they couldn't find its bits and bobs and they could not be bothered to order it from one of another comet store. End of story, I got the gift voucher but not the money back. I have decided not to buy anything from comet forever but I don't know what to do with that bloody waste of money in form of gift card. My recommendation to everyone: don't use comet ever if you don't want to get mugged. If you ever wanted to get a refund, they will stick a gift voucher on your face so the money always goes into their fat tummy. |
