Advantages: don't buy from comet & certainly don't take out insurance

aranged for an engineer to come out for a faulty TV only bought last October.I had to arragne to leave work early,hence loosing money.I got home at 3.00pm.At 3.32 I recieved a message on my mobile telling me there was nobody in!I phoned staright back .I was fobed off & the engineer had decided to go home early - he said he was in my village & when I phoned him he said he was in Birmingham - an hours drive away!i asked him to come back as the repair service was supposed to be up to 6.00pm,said he wouldn't.Customer services said it was now too late for him to return & I couldn't return the TV to the store for a repalcement until an engineerr had looked at it - chance would be a fine thing.Made another appointment & it was another no show.Customer servies have said to make another appoinment as they can only go on what the engineer had told them - not the fact that it was all lies & he wasn't even in the village.

Summary: failure to turn up for an appoinment as the engineer decided to go home early!
