Advantages: lots of choice, can demo TVs and good staff

Went to Comet to buy a new TV, store looked clean and tidy. Unlike local Argos and Currys, a member of staff said hello at the door and made me and my family feel welcome. I was left to look around without hassle. A few staff members said hello as we looked but that was it. I already had a decent knowlwdge of Tvs but the lad who took my order knew everything. He showed me special features of the sony set i wanted, showed me the matching cinema kit and explained how to connect it up. He even offered to come round as i lived nearby if i got stuck. paying was painless, we even got out without a badgering over warranty. He asked if we wanted cover, we said no, he said fair enough - you cant say fairer than that. Tv was put in car by very friendly man in black t shirt who thanked us for shopping at comet - thought that was a nice touch. Lets just hope it dont go wrong!
It was Comet in York by the way and i will be going back for a new washer very soon
