Lousy service ,worse customer service (Comet.co.uk)

Advantages: None Disadvantages: Too annoying and stressful
Ordered a new tv to be delivered and installed in my elderely mothers house. After a long and detailed discussion with the tele sales guy on the importance of having the set installed and fully explained to my mother we agreed on the delivery date etc... Delivery came as agreed BUT by parcel post with obviously no engineer to install or explain it's workings. I phoned customer services who explained that installation had not been specified even after my long conversation with the sales guy. So, i'm then referred back to the sales dept and spoke to another chap for 42 minutes, mainly because he put me on hold at least ten times cos he did not have a clue what he was doing. eventually after being charged another 46 quid for installation we agreed on an installation date and rough time. He said he would call me back shortly as he had some forms to fill in (what and why?) and to confirm the engineer would actually call. You guessed it, no call. So after being let down on the installation, advised by an idiot and charged another 46 quid I asked to speak to a manager. "Yes sir no problem, but you will have to wait 5 hours as he is really busy"! Summary: Go Elsewhere |
