Comet are awful, see my letter of complaint below:

I recently ordered a fridge, washing machine and dishwasher from your website and wanted to inform you of the appalling service I've received.

- After placing the order and having the delivery date confirmed, I received a voicemail from another department, informing me that my fridge would be delivered on a different day. After 3 phone calls to them I was finally able to get them to arrange the delivery of this for the same day

- When the delivery arrived it was NOT unwrapped and after removing the wrapping, I found out that the wrong dishwasher had been delivered. After 2 hours on the phone to various people in your call centres, I was finally told you didn't have my dishwasher in stock anymore and couldn't even tell me when you might. I was told that I could either have a refund or an exchange, but when I had a look at the alternative dishwashers, the one's that would fit in my kitchen (i.e. colour, size, semi-integrated), were roughly £260 more in price. i was informed by a manager at the call center that he could make a concession of £20 - £25 off the price of this, which I refused.

After having taken time-off from work to accept the wrong appliance and having spent more than 2 hours on the phone (at my own cost), I found the notion of absorbing roughly £230, highly offensive. I am quite simply, appalled by the service that I've received and have now arranged for all the products to be taken away. I feel it would be better to purchase the products with a retailer that is more concerned with their customer service. I will NEVER spend money with Comet again and wanted to make you aware of the matter so that other customers might be spared such a poor experience. To that end, I intend posting this letter on internet forums such as, Moneysavingexpert.com.
