MY EXPERIENCE WITH COMET

I decided to purchase a laptop from Comet in June this year. I was nervous about buying from here due to negative reviews I'd read about Comet both on here and other websites but I decided to give them a chance anyway.

I'd found the make of laptop which I wanted but it was expensive so I wanted to shop around for the best deal. Comet had my laptop priced at £599. This wasn't the cheapest price I'd seen online but it had superior specifications compared to some of the cheaper versions of the same laptop including more RAM and a better video card. It was also the only website offering a free one year cover plan which was great for piece of mind. Other websites had very expensive cover plans which added over £100 to the overall cost.

Another thing I liked about Comet is that there were plenty of discount codes avaliable for the store online. I found one that saved me £30 which I was pleased with. For higher spends, there were discount vouchers to save up to £100 and these were widely avaliable on the internet.

Then I chose standard delivery which promised to deliver my laptop between 7am and 6pm. This cost an extra £5.82 but I wanted the piece of mind of knowing when I would recieve my laptop. I was delighted when it arrived Friday morning at 7:30am as I had feared that I would be waiting up to 6pm for it arrive. This gave me the rest of the day to sort out my new laptop and freeing up the rest of the day to relax and do I wanted without having to listen out for the doorbell!
It was well packaged in two boxes to prevent damages which was reassuring.

So far, my laptop is working perfectly fine. It comes with all the features Comet promised online and I am very pleased with it and the prompt service which I recieved from Comet.

I found the website really easy to use.
Many laptops I viewed had detailed specifications listing all their features and many had customer ratings and reviews which was very useful when aking my final decision on what to buy. Delivery details and costs were also cleary stated.

SUMMARY
Nothing to complain about here so don't be put off by so many negative reviews and give Comet a chance!
I recieved prompt service which I was delighted with and a great laptop for a reasonable price.
