Advantages: Some good price offers
Disadvantages: Poor customer service (if you can get any service!)
I think you would be far better back at home looking after the little ones, where is your husband, he'll know what I'm talking about love! Is that the impression you get when shopping at Comet and been attended to (if you can call it that) by a male customer service assistant (if you can call HIM that!). I can count the number of times that I have visited Comet on one hand, it has been the same every time and every assistant has been male (don't get me wrong you menfolk reading this, I'm not anti-male just anti Comet!). They seem to think if you are a woman shopping for electrical equipment or God forbid a PC (now that is a dilemma how can a female choose a PC, she needs a man to make a decision like that!)that you haven't got a clue. I wonder how many of them have taken the vax apart when it's given up the ghost and rejuvinated it. Why is it too that you can enter a Comet store and not find a member of staff to help you, they're not on the desk so they must be on the sales floor, so you walk around the isles, searching for help, walking around in circles, hoping the people operating the security cameras don't think you'r out shoplifting and then suddenly in the distance you spot one. There he is, one of those rare species, a member of staff not trying to persuade someone to part with their hard earned dosh and earn his commission, he walks towards you with a smile on his face as if to say sorry I took so long getting to you, then he walks straight past you to the customer who has appeared from nowhere behind you! Damn!!!! Ok, so Comet may have some good price offers, but at the end of the day, you can nearly always get an exact price match at one of the other electrical stores, I have tried it and it works. Only thing I can say about Comet is 'Room for Improvement, Can do Better'.
