Advantages: Cheaper Prices
Disadvantages: No Customer Service At All!!!
Well Comet certainly has a reputation in my opinion, but not for the good deals.
I thought that with a company this big it would invest in good customer service. I live in a Valley Town, and the nearest store is in Merthyr. I have been there on several occassions, the first time I went there I was inondated with staff and sales people.
However as the store has become older the service seems to have gone with its age. A friend of mine has been looking for a computer for her daughter, she has been everywhere and decided to try our nearest Comet (Merthyr). We were there for 45 minutes we had requested help but nobody even bothered to see us. I complained but was basically told well good bye!
I have never in my entire life been treated so badly by any person working in this line of work, I know that if I spoke to or treated customers the way we were then I would get the push from my job.
I am very upset and will never use Comet again, I would be interested to hear from anyone who has had the same treatment from Comet. Also if anyone knows where I could find a good Computer package or even seperated I would be very greatfull, after todays little episode I really can't take any more looking.
Last thought! Comet should invest more in their Customer relations than big advertising saying we are unbeatable. The new add mentioning Argos, well I know we all stand in line at Argos but the service is by far better, I will pay the extra and get the service, Comet is no longer a place I will visit.
