As a way of writing an opinion I have placed in here the letter of complaint I sent to Comet.


Dear Comet,

On the day of the 14th March I rose early making sure I was available to take delivery of the XBOX you had agreed to deliver to me in exchange for money. I waited until 12:00 and decided to give your number a quick call to check that I was going to be delivered that day and to and find out an estimated time of arrival. The first person took all my details and then realised I ordered on-line and promptly cut me off.

Next person took all me details and then once they realised I was an on-line customer said the following in an annoyed voice, "Oh you ordered on-line I will have to transfer you". After being on hold for about 5 minutes I came through to a another person whom told me that the I had been diverted from the on-line customer service line but she could send them an e-mail(more about that later). Knowing how notorious people are for answering e-mails promptly I called back again 1/2 an hour later and managed to get through to on-line customer services where they finally managed to explain to me that I was not down for any delivery today or at any time in the near future. "Why", I asked. "Because you haven't paid the full amount", came the reply. Good answer I thought apart from the fact no one has ever asked me for the rest of the money, I therefore assumed it must be taken out on the day of delivery. Any how one day later I have a response to the e-mail sent through to the on-line department asking if I had ordered an Xbox, funny man.

Thus I cancelled my order with you the Xbox but have not seen the original deposit being refunded.

So I am sending you this e-mail as way of complaint of not receiving the goods I ordered and to complain about the bad customer service. Your staff always seemed surprised I ways an on-line customer even though I dialled the number given by the
on-line department.

So after wasting a day off work and getting frustrated dealing with your staff I have made the decision not shop again at Comet. Plus I decided to warn as many people as possible about your service my posting this letter on the internet on the opinions page www.dooyoo.co.uk my profile is call "rossy". On this internet page I can hopefully warn as many people as possible.

Thank you for turning a potentially very enjoyable day in to hair pulling disaster.

How infuriating.

I&# 39;d like to have given you better than an SU but I didn't feel that you'd covered more than one particular incident. If you add to the opinion ,ail me and I'll gladly reread.

Sorry for the low rating but this is in the wrong section (offline shops instead of online) and you don't tell us much about the services they offer etc. Sounds like you had a nightmare. Shame as I have ordered from them online three times and each time without problem.
