at time of writing this review am still tvless!. It went on the blink 3 weeks ago, and as it's still under warranty, reported to comet. An engineer arrived within a couple of days, saying he knew what the fault would be. It wasn't what he thought so he said he'd have to order another part which would take a couple of days to arrive. A couple of days from when.......? Am getting really annoyed, will not buy anything from them again!!

I have bought a Bosch Fridge Freezer from Comet. This fridge freezer is apparently from a faulty batch, they would not replace it and just offered a 'fix'. This then went wrong again, they again offered another 'fix'. This was refused. I contacted Bosch who sent out their own engineer who told me that Comet had not fixed the fridge freezer properly the first time.

The fridge freezer should have been replaced in the beginning. Because I accepted the first 'fix' I had no leg to stand on so to speak.

Comet are rude, unhelpful, and I would never buy from one of their stores again.

Customer NON Service is what their department should be called.

Comet Customer 'Care', that is definitely a claim for Trading Standards. I bought my washing machine from Comet just 5 months ago and ever since it broke down, over 3 weeks ago, all I have had is excuse after excuse. I was even accused of having deliberately broken the machine myself by the first person I spoke to, he then went on to tell me that I would have to try & fix it myself before he would book an engineer's visit!!
Another engineer finally came out today and 3 hours after he left the machine broke down again! I can't get my money back as all Comet will do is fix or replace, meanwhile I now have yet another 60 mile round trip to my mother's to use her machine, oh joy!!

Bought a fridge freezer, within 4 weeks it was written off as not serviceable. Hotpoint will cover the food loss in first year, Comet have not even responded to my complaint in 7 weeks.

2nd Feb purchased a Canon Chesterfield gas cooker from New Malden Surrey Store. Salesman superb - attentive service and knowledgeable. Delivery fantastic, courteous and very helpful. Removal arrangements to take away old cooker, date and timing once again superb. Recommended - you bet.

customer service is awful worst experience of my life have had the same fault with my tv since i got it but as soon as the warrenty went out they tried to refuse to look at it again without charging me despite the fact they obviously didnt fix it properly in the first place. they eventually backed down and took it to be repaired only for it to breakdown again 2 weeks later the battle continues with them so far i have found that the staff do not know their stuff they are rude and despite several requests to speak witht he area manager her has refused to return my calls . dont touch them with a barge pole wouldnt buy batteries from this company !!!!!!!!!
