washing machine broke down it took comet 10 days to send engineer then they turned up with wrong part; its gonna be another 10 days before they can get back out to me. happy days!!!

Bought an oven from Comet for £469.99 after research on the internet discovered I could have bought it cheaper at Sainsbury's £40 less and online Laskys £100 less. Phoned Comet Customer services and they said that they only price matched against certain stores i.e. Argos, Curry's, John Lewis, PC World or Tesco stores as on their website. Later found out from a friend that Laskys are part of Comet and that Sainsbury's use Comet to deliver white goods. Checked websites to see the similarities between delivery, installation and removal of item which was more or less then same.Comet Price Guarantee to match price is a joke while still being within the letter of the law. very suspect and shady.

Bought a LG 50 Plasma from these jokers and when it died after 6 months I have been left waiting over a week now for someone to come and collect this piece of junk, customer services at Comet are a joke too, rude and condeseding staff told me 'If your not happy with our service then complain to trading standards. Was also told that I couldnt speak to a manger at customer services as they are not for the public to talk to, they are there for staff support only. Wish I had read all the complaints about this company before buying from them, but lesson learnt.DO NOT USE COMET EVEN FOR A NEW PLUG

I bought my Samsung RS20CCMS fridge freezer 3 years ago, and was surprised to receive a letter from Comet stating there may be a fault which could cause a fire, and they would send an engineer to replace the offending part, engineer came and now my fridge freezer isn't working, customer services were useless and denied any fault and blamed Samsung as they'd told Comet to do the work, now i have a giantornament and ruined food.I have since found out that it was the RS21 model which had the faultand not mine, Comet couldn't even get that right, suffice to say i won'tbe shopping at Comet in future.

We got a freezer from Comet. We first tried to buy it online but the site crashed. Then we called customer service and the got our billing addres wrong but got the delivery addres right. However they informed the delivery people with the wrong delivery address. So we wake up with the freezer send somewhere else. We call cust service and I explain the issue. This proves too much for the lady and she tries to transfer me to one of the managers. I wait for 30 mins on Vivaldi music and then she appologies for the wait and says she will resubmit the delivery. Not hlpfull at all. Their cust service sucks. It's the last time I will get anything from comet. I advise other customers to never use their online service.

I bought Toshiba L300-222 Laptop 9 days ago. Yesterday one of the keys fall out. I talked to store manager and he told me that they can fix it but they can't do refund! It is obvious that if it fall off once it will fall off again, I told him about Sale of Goods Act 1979 and he still refused refund. Laptop failed in 9 days! I will never ever buy there anything!

Comet only cares about the money and they have the worst customer service you can ever see. I bought a camera from comet and was not happy with it so decided to get a refund. Since the box was opened, they were obliged to deduct a 10% charge and give me my money back but they gave me a Gift voucher instead and told me that I couldn't have my money back. The gift voucher was a greatest favour that they were returning to me. This makes me really angry and I will advise everybody to think twice before even stepping in their stores.
