I bought Toshiba L300-222 Laptop 9 days ago. Yesterday one of the keys fall out. I talked to store manager and he told me that they can fix it but they can't do refund! It is obvious that if it fall off once it will fall off again, I told him about Sale of Goods Act 1979 and he still refused refund. Laptop failed in 9 days! I will never ever buy there anything!

Comet only cares about the money and they have the worst customer service you can ever see. I bought a camera from comet and was not happy with it so decided to get a refund. Since the box was opened, they were obliged to deduct a 10% charge and give me my money back but they gave me a Gift voucher instead and told me that I couldn't have my money back. The gift voucher was a greatest favour that they were returning to me. This makes me really angry and I will advise everybody to think twice before even stepping in their stores.

Comets service attitude to customers. In brief .. flat screen TV screen problem, confirmed by visiting engineer, unit still showing picture OK. Nine days wait for prelacement, fine, no problem. Cable damaged during part replacement. Part ordered but told that it could easily be a week before it is sent down! (Or do they only come this way once a week?) I rang Comet to ask if they could provide a replacement TV whilst we waited. The response was NO. The assistant was polite but showed no sympathy he just said that we would just have to wait without a TV until the part came! I pointed out that this was not mentioned in their adverts!! I am about to buy a new TV for my aged mother, unless they have a quick change of mind it will not be through COMET!

Having purchased a Goodman TV for £399 in Nov last year from Comet Darlington, the power supply unit failed one week after the guarantee ran out. at time of writing this review am still tvless!. It went on the blink 3 weeks ago, and as it's still under warranty, reported to comet. An engineer arrived within a couple of days, saying he knew what the fault would be. It wasn't what he thought so he said he'd have to order another part which would take a couple of days to arrive. A couple of days from when.......? Am getting really annoyed, will not buy anything from them again!!
