ConsoleUp is an online shopping site selling small products such as memory cards and video game console accessories. The website is simple and clear to navigate and has a professional appearance.

On every page of their website they announce that they offer "Same Day Dispatch - Easy Returns - 100% Secure Shopping" "Plus Rapid Customer Service Response Times!"

They have an address and other contact information listed on their contact page (at the time of writing this review their phone number has now been removed).

As all appeared well we decided to order 2 items. We made 2 separate orders on consecutive days, both for the same item. Both times the item was shown as being in stock. The money was debited from our account the same day each order was made and we were pleased to see that we could follow the progress of our orders via our account page on the website.

Within a day our first order showed as packing so we awaited delivery. It had not arrived a couple of days later so we checked the order status again and it was still shown as packing! So much for 24 hour despatch then.

We opened a support ticket, hoping their "Rapid Customer Service Response Times" would produce an answer for us as to when we could expect our items (which were intended to be gifts and were needed by a certain date). No reply was received within 2 days and with time running out we decided to email them directly. The email bounced right back to us. Hmmm, beginning to regret ordering now.

The phone number had gone from the contact page but we did find one listed on a forum - where many other people were having the same issue with this company. However no one answered the phone anyway.

Eventually our second order showed as posted but it still took another week to get here so I do not believe it was posted out when they claimed.

Yet another week later we are still awaiting our first order (for the same product!) which still shows as packing. The item is still listed as being in stock on the website.

We have found many other people having the same issues with this company. Some people have received the wrong goods (weeks late) and are having a terrible time trying to get a refund or even the actual item they ordered. Many others have not received anything, or only a part of their order. A total nightmare of a company and these issues seem to go back for at least a year!!

We have still not had a single reply to our queries. I will not use this company again and would *strongly* recommend that others avoid it too.

Summary: Dreadful all round, DO NOT USE!
