Advantages: Zillions of well laid out recipes

This is my favourite cooking/food site (and I’ve had a look at many!). The layout is fresh and clean looking and pleasing to the eye.

You can buy kitchen or cooking tools, specialty foods or browse through an incredibly large number of recipes and save them to your personalized recipe box.

Most recipes have a picture, which is nice, with clear and easily understandable instructions. I myself am addicted to reading recipes and have found the ones on this site very appealing.

There is a section called cuisine that separates the recipes into 14 countries or regions and I found this very useful. The search engine works really well. I typed in sesame oil and it came up with 117 recipes that include sesame oil!

If I have an abundance of something in the fridge, I search for recipes that include that ingredient and usually find some great ideas.

It is a U.S. site; therefore, measurements may need to be converted.
