Advantages: Different from the High Street

Disadvantages: Not all fragrances come with matching soaps etc.

Want to buy a fragrance for yourself, your Mum,Dad,Gran or partner? This site is something a little different no Dior or Chanel but their own fragrances designed and made on the premises.

This little perfumery is set in the heart of the Cotwolds in Bourton-on-the-Water, it is open to visitors . You can sample the fragrances and learn a little about the perfumiers art.

But if you can't visit in person they offer mail order and of course the website.

The range is split into three main sections ..
Fragrances(Ladies or Gentlemen),Flower Waters and fashion Jewellery.

Although the range and the website has a distincly old fashioned feel some of the fragrances smell quite modern.

The ladies fragrances are.......
Cymbelline
English Rose
Muguet (Lily of the Valley) my mums favourite.
Pallas (Jasmin) quite sultry and my choice.
Ruby
Viva which they recommend as suitable for any lady.

All the fragrances are available as cologne or perfume some also come in soaps,talcs etc..

The mens fragrances are...
Amber which is warm and spicy.
Oberon which is more green and sporty.
My man likes both of these.
The mens fragrances come as Aftershave or Cologne.

The flower waters are....
Lavender,orange or rose.
You can't really go wrong with lavender or rose for an older female in the family.

All the fragrances come in squarish bottles and are boxed.
They can be delivered direct as a gift. Gift wrapping which is quite attractive only costs an extra 20pence.
While on delivery costs UK P&P is included in the price.

Where the fashion jewellery came from I don't know but there is a nice selection available in sterling silver,silver plate or gold plate. There are some atomisers in the jewellery section, which would be a nice addition when sending fragrance as a present.

I have been using their service for some years without any hitches, and the recipients of these gifts seem to like getting something a little different and exclusive.

Summary:
