Advantages: easy to use, free postage

Disadvantages: no 'browse' function, not much information

I like this place.

When I first went to the site, I was slightly put off by the fact that it didn't have any way for me to browse through the cds.

However, I was very impressed as soon as I entered the title of a cd in the search function. It quickly gave me a long list of cds, all at different prices. Some were coloured in red, meaning they had to be imported from the US.

I selected the one i wanted (the cheapest!), and entered it to my shopping cart. I was impressed by the fact that there were no postage charges.

I then entered my details and mother's credit card number, using their secure server, and waited.

The next time I came online, I discovered an email from them saying my order had been received, and would be arriving shortly.

It arrived in a few days.

Today, a week after receiving my CD, I got an email telling me it was in the post to me.
Hmm... ah well, it didn't hurt anyone!

Cow.co.uk (Cheap Or What!) are not a CD shop as such - they simply search a number of record labels for you, and purchase your selection direct from the label before sending it on to you.

The prices, while not amazingly cheap are perfectly reasonable, and free postage to anywhere in the UK make this a good option.

I searched for some relatively obscure titles, and most were available.

The only problem I had was that no information about the cds were given apart from the artist and title. However, I was easily able to find other information, ie track listings, elsewhere.

I found this site easy to use, and had no problems purchasing or receiving my goods.
