Advantages: cheap, wide range of product

Disadvantages: Low stock level

Dabs.com is probably one of the largest online retailer in the UK. It has a very wide range of product. Believe when I say wide range of product, because you’d probably find 99% of the goods you need here. Sometimes the product range might be to wide, so much so that I feel it carries a lot of “uninteresting” product. The best thing about Dabs is the cheap price. It may not has the cheapest (see www.pcindex.co.uk for cheapest price online), but it saves you the trouble of making different order for each item. Most of the time, I find the item I am looking for is no more than a pound or two than the cheapest available. What’s more? They provide free delivery as well.

The downside is their stock level is always low. Half of the time one need to wait a few days to a couple of weeks an item to arrive at door step. But then again, most online retailers keep their stock level as low as possible to enhance cash flow. Those who can’t wait are better off shopping at large store like PC World (where prices are always high).
