Advantages: price, automated returns

Disadvantages: wrong goods sent, poor customer service, time wasters

I've bought 4 items from dabs - and will never use them again. Only one of the four purchases went smoothly.

- a pc was delivered to the wrong spec: if I hadn't kept a copy of the online spec sheet I'd have been stuck with it. I had to *fax* my spec sheet to dabs - and it took four attempts on two different numbers to get it to them. When did you last have that much trouble sending a fax?

- an internal cdrw was delivered instead of the external usb cdrw ordered

- a screen ordered had to be returned - not dabs' fault that it stopped working - but they didn't read the note/comment field on the return request. When I spoke to them (starting at number 35 in their call centre queue & holding for 25 minutes) I was told that the software doesn't read comments! And obviously their staff can't read them either.

- a 3d video card: no problems on this one.

Is one in 4 orders a good enough strike rate for you? Some times dabs are a little cheaper than others, but it's just not worth the hassle when they get things wrong.

Welcome to dooyoo. I know the frustration you have had with this lot, a little more detail is needed to nail them , though. Updated this opinion, you will serve the membership more if you do so. (and aid the fight against poor retailers).

Let` s get rid of bad rubbish ie. Dabs.com.

I don't know if I'm particularly lucky or you're particularly unlucky, but I've bought from Dabs a good half a dozen times and never had any problems at all!
