What follows is my review for Dawsons music shop and in particular the shop I have had experience with in Liverpool, originally written for another website called bview: Pros: I used to visit this place nearly every day when I was at University in Liverpool. They have a large selection of guitars, pianos and other instruments on display. You are free to pick up one and give it a whirl. If your only just getting into music you can alwys ask one of the members of staff to play something on your chosen instrument as they seem to be able to play most things in the shop. I actually found their amazing price of the synth I bought through a magazine. They offer free delivery if you buy of the web site, so I gave it a go. The synth I found(roland)was advertised at the special price and the normal price on the web site, but alas with no desc about it on the special price, this worried me a bit, and was all a bit confusing. I had to phone them and confirm this was OK. I should have just stayed on the phone and payed the delivery charge. I've just been checking some prices at Dawsons.co.uk, and to my amazement I found that there were already goods in my basket, and so I deleted them. I added what I was interested in, and then looked at other things. When adding them I found not only was my SPL Tube Vitaliser missing, but 10 grand pianos in it's place. Now, as I'm a lighthearted kind of chap I quickly realised what total rubbish the dawsons site must be - if 2 shoppers share a basket - immagine that at your supermarket, 1 big basket for everyone!
