Online shopping policies worth a read (debenhams.com)

Advantages: easy enough to browse

Disadvantages: real life shopping leads to less disapointment

I have used debenhams online many time, usually in the sales when I cannot be bothered to go instore as it is usauly very crowded and ridiculous queues.

The website is not bad, easy enough to navigate around because my mum also uses it so when she can use it with ease it is always a very positive factor.

My problem with Debenhams.com is that even when I shop at the very beginning of the sale the stock always seems to be extremly limited which really bugs me... I am just browsing away thinking, yet again, I have found a great bargain only to find it is out of stock! Normally on the non sale items this isn't a problem but c'mon online sales are an important factor needing highlighted.
Also, on the sale topic, I recentley bought some bed linen which was in the sale at a 60% discount, excellent yes but upon finding that it was litterally a duvet cover with no pillowcases and that the pillowcases were out of stock, I wanted to return my item.

I brought them back instore and apparantly any sale item reduced by 50% or more cannot receive a refund of even a credit note, only an exchange.

So, moral of the story, virtual shopping, usually more complicated, give me a busy debenhams store any day.

Summary: Looks like I will just have to brave the busy shops in future
