They messed up my order and customer service were not prepared to do anything to sort it out

Disadvantages: Really poor customer service
I purchased a duvet cover, sheet and pillow cases for store collection (order #04780293). Asda told me the order was ready for collection but when I went to pick up the order, the sheet was missing from he package. I took the rest thinking I'd ask them to send me the missing item. They do not have email customer service (which is strange for an Internet based company) so I had to call them. The customer service call centre refused to send me the missing item. They told me I had to return the items I had collected to he store for a refund. I didn't think this was reasonable (i felt that, as it was their fault, they should send me the missing item - it is available). I asked to spoke to a manager and he was also not prepared to help. I'm going to write to head office and, if they don't sort it I will dispute the card transaction. I'll have to buy the replacement from tesco direct their customer service is, in my experience, considerably better.
Summary: Never again shopping there!!!
