I am full of praise and admiration for Dixons! A couple of weeks ago we received a letter informing us that we had tried to order an iten from them but they were not happy with the order for some reason and to contact them regarding the purchase. After discussing this 'order' with all the memebers of the family we soon realised that nobody had tried to order anything from Dixons!

My husband duly got in contact with Dixons and it turned out that someone had got a hold of my husband's card details including address and the 3 security numbers on the back. They had attempted to order a £699 lap top via the online store at Dixons. Dixons had become somewhat 'suspicious' as a number of similar type orders had been made from the area in which we live..so they did not allow the order to proceed. As the bank had 'authorised' the transaction for the 'fraudster' we were ever so grateful that Dixons were so vigilant and contacted us about this. It saved us £699 and alerted us to the fact that someone had hold of my husband's card details. We were then able to cancel the card to prevent any more purchases being made.
