I first became aware of this site a couple of months ago. I had seen one of those "On-Tap Illusion" thingies that has this tap or bottle suspended in mid air over a beer mug and gives the illusion of the liquid running into the mug. I saw it first on Oxford Street several years ago, in one of the high street shop windows. Can't remember which one though. Then I saw it again in my friends home on a smaller scale. He got it as a gift and hadn't the faintest idea where it was from. After doing a bit of "Googling" I finally got to Drinkstuff.com and boy was I happy. This site has just about everything a drinker needs, expect the drink itself. It is a paradise for those who have a personal bar at home and for those who like to entertain. I fall into both these categories so you could imagine my excitement. Naturally, once I had gotten to the site, I started looking for the particular item that had initiated my interest. After going through the items on offer I almost forgot what I had come for. The choice and novelty of the items is absolutely wonderful and in the end I wanted everything. The website is very simply and clearly laid out. On of left hand side of the homepage you will find links to all the various products. On the right hand side you will find the top five sellers all with little pictures. In the center of the page you will find all the latest stuff, thats just in, aswell as some special offers. As mentioned the links on the left hand side are for all the available products. These links are: Wine Accessories, Novelty Stuff, Cocktail Equipment, Party Stuff, Bar Accessories, Glass Ware, Mirrors, Guinness, Jack Daniels, Coca Cola, Neon Signs, Budweiser, Bar Towels, Pub Signs, Ashtrays & Jugs, Gambling Stuff, Magic, Simpsons, Other Stuff and Sale Stuff. It also provides an option to subscribe to their mailing list in order to receive newsletters, containing updates and special offers. Simp
ly enter your email address and press the "subscribe" button. By selecting an of the product links you are then directed to the page containing all the relative product. The choices are great and the products seem to be of the utmost quality. A majority of th products come with a picture, the price, a brief notification if the product is in stock, otherwise it would be mentioned as unavailable or have a avaialble from date. If you find something that interests you, which I am quite confident you will, simply select the quantity and press the "add to basket" button, which is next to each product. Once again I must reiterate that the choices of products provided is quite awesome. Also each range is neatly seperated by the different links. If you were to select say "Novelty Items" you would be met with products such as the Glass Yard of Yale. This is literraly like a test tube, which is one yard long. You are supposed to have your beer from this. I saw this once in a pub in Hong Kong and never thought that one day I would have the opportunity to purchase one for myself. Drinkstuff.com is part of the Barmans Ltd Group and the company address, telephone, fax and email address is clearly mentioned on the bottom of any page that you visit on their site. Once you have selected your item(s) of interested simply click "View Basket", confirm your selection, press checkout, select service required and country, enter your address, enter delivery address, enter your credit card details and submit your order. They deliver throught the U.K. and also to any other part of the world. Cost of delivery is: UK Mainland - £3.50 (Orders over £100 FREE) - 2-3 Days delivery UK Mainland - £4.95 - Next Day delivery UK Non-Mainland £9.95 (Orders over £150 FREE) - 2-4 Days delivery Europe & Rep. You can also keep track of your order, order by phone or make additional enquiries by using their order hotline number: (01223) 872769. Overall I found this site wonderful. They have a great selection and many items are very hard to find elsewhere. It is also ideal if you are trying to find a present for someone. You have a wide range of products with varying price range. Basically they do not only sell exensive stuff. Rather most of their selection is very economically priced and suitable for most peoples pockets. I strongly recommend this site to anyone looking to find something nice for their bar, home or as a gift. I am quite confident that everyone will find something of interest.
Let me begin by explaining how I came to be visiting the site. When I went to Valkenburg in July I bought my brother a 1.5 litre bottle of Jack Daniels since then he's been going on that all he needs now is an optic, so with Christmas fast approaching and needing desperately to find him one last Christmas present his words kept ringing in my ears....but where and how does one go to buy an optic, well here I now have the solution, also if you want to buy a bar, or any other type of drink related accessories I HAVE THE SOLOUTION. Most normal people's first stop would have been the phone book but oh no not me I went straight to the net and hey presto up popped drinkstuff. THE SITE ******** This site caters for just about anything you could ever possibly want to or didn't know you wanted to buy relating to drink accessories (but they don't seem to sell booze)until visiting the site. They have themed gifts, mirrors, brand gifts (did you know you can get Jack Daniels cigarette papers and a bin), complete bars (yes thats right a Italian Bar or Bar Monago will only set you back £3499.99). The site is really easily laid out with the different categories listed to the left side of the page, the categories i'll go into sperately with a very brief overview as to what each catagory contains further on. Along the top of the page are tab tops to bring you home, jokes, information about the company etc. A good hint is to look at the ABOUT US TAB as that is wher all the information about how to shop, the delivery charges and site security information are. Catagories ********** Listed on the left hand side of the page include: WINE ACCESSORIES- corks, cork screws, thermometers, buckets and stands, wine racks. NOVELTY STUFF - all those things you see and say want one just a couple of items listed are a breathalyser, shot glass chess set, yard of ale glass. COCKTAIL EQUIPMEN
T - cocktail shakers, recipies, strainers, pourers, neon sign, swizzle sticks, straws PARTY STUFF - Party poppers, 3 pint pitcher BAR ACCESSORIES - Optic sets, Bells, pub laws sign, actual bars GLASSWARE - every type of glass you may need GAMES - bar skittles, football table, drinking games MIRRORS - branded mirrors i.e. Jack Daniels GUINESS - Guiness branded goods JACK DANIELS - Jack Daniels branded goods COCA COLA - Coca Cola branded goods NEON SIGNS - saying, bar, open, budwieser, cocktails BUDWEISER - Budweiser branded goods BAR TOWELS - Branded bar towels including Bells, Carlsberg, Jack Daniels PUB SIGNS - Need I say more ASHTRAYS AND JUGS - you know the one's you've seen and wanted to pinch COASTERS AND TRAYS - as above GAMBLING STUFF - chips, dice, card shuffler,Roulette wheel MAGIC - Magic trick sets BOOKS - on just about every booze related subject OTHER STUFF - this is the final category and literally contains all sorts. PRICES ******* Now this is the dangerous part their is something to suit everyones budget range Jack Daniels cigarette papers will set you back £1.00 for a pack of 2, a bar can cost £3449. For the optic set I bought my brother I paid 12.95 + postage and packing but if i'm really honest if I had been less disciplined I could have spent loads at this site. BUYING AND PAYING FOR GOODS *************************** The site has the shopping basket method where you add goods to your basket and pay at the end but you can also order by phone and by fax, they accept most payment methods including cheques for postal orders. Delivery charges are quite reasonable with it being more expensive if you want next day delivery, I chose delivery for 2 - 3 days which is £2.95. Oh before I forget delivery is free on orders over £100. OVERALL ******* This site is well worth a visit I found myself saying I didn't know Jack Daniels did that or I didn't know you could get those, you may find yourself yearning for the little knick naks so I guess I should include the following warning: BEWARE YOU WILL WANT TO SPEND ON THIS SITE.
I came across Drinkstuff.com purely by accident when I was bored one day and was waiting to go down the pub after lectures! The site is a marvel! You name it they sell it from glasses, pub-signs, mirrors, neon lights to little fluffy animals on sticks. You can even buy a whole bar from them is you so choose! The site itself is really easy to use. As per most internet shopping sites you have the old 'shopping basket' system which is easy to use but you have to be careful as the amount of stuff you add increases rapidly whilst you are browsing as you can not help your-self!( It's a bit like a kid in a sweet shop!) Once you have made your choice it is very easy to order the items. This does not have to be done over the net or even by switch or credit card as they take phone and postal orders and let you pay by cheque for the postal orders, so if you don't like giving personal information over the net then for once you won't be excluded. The prices are not as expensive as you would think and if you are after some good quality drinking glasses then I suggest that you look here first before going to BHS or Debenhams etc... The range of items is impressive as they cater for actual pubs and bars as well as just general people. If your planning on having a party and want some novelties, drinking games then they cater for that too (you can even buy a 'pin the tail on the Donkey' game!). The basic themes remain similar but in general they change the merchandise on offer quite rapidly so there is always something new to ponder about. The best items on offer at the moment are a pewter set of 'Simpsons' drinkstuff such as bottle openers and cork screws, but be careful because themed stuff such as this can be quite expensive! Okay I'll stop boring you now but go have a look as ther is some quite interesting stuff on this site and if you want to be like Tom Cruise in 'Cocktail' th
en this is the site to get you started!!!!!
